There's something psychologically wrong with this group of players

Absolutely this. Most of them have the ability and they show it every now and again but we really don't have the mentality for a dog fight or a physical game. Too many passengers when the going gets tough.

Something has to change. We cannot take the lead, fanny about and then blow the match. A few good results have glossed over these inadequacies but it’s totally and utterly demoralising.

I suggest theres something drastically wrong with the mentality of this side, we lack a real tough leader on the pitch to pull us through too, when the going gets hard we just simply go through the motions far far too often.

Nobody comes out of tonight with much credit but it was actually painful watching Keohane. The number of times he was skinned, lost possession or slowed down an attack was infuriating. All topped off by a ridiculous lunge to give the penalty away.

I’m not sure whether Shun ever did confirm that we’ve conceded more late goals than anybody else this past two or three seasons but I’ll bet nobody even comes close.

This is where the manager earns his money. Or should.

Just at a loss really looking back on that game.

The way we play the ball around at the back is embarrassing.

The rashness we continue to dive into challenges with is amateurish.

Can’t help but think that if Sanchez had been fit these last few weeks we would have accrued far more points.

Just bitterly, bitterly disappointed.

Rash challenge, it was end to end before that

Capped a pretty awful performance from Keohane imho. Must've been his turn tonight.

Another 3 points dropped from a winning position and puts us only 1 point off the bottom 4 with a worse GD than them below us.

Well, yes, but the gap to the relegation places is still seven points, although Tranmere play tomorrow.

Wasn’t Lynch that gave away the penalty though

Another team on a poor run of form beats us. On early tomorrow so had a nap this afternoon before watching on iFollow. Waste of time and waste of £2. Won't begrudge the £8 know we need every bit of cash.

MK deserved the win on their second half performance. They got into our faces, and we didn't cope. Again. Too lightweight. You could see them scoring a winner long before the mistake for a penalty.
O'Connell and Dooley were excellent. Ref had a good game as well.

We're extremely lucky that Bolton had points taken off them, and that Southend are horrific. If they were half decent we'd be in serious trouble (We're not far off now)

Possession with progression.

Edged the first half. Second best for most of the second. Inevitable ending. No injury crisis now, just a poor side. Even if we avoid relegation this season (a massive if) I don't see anything but relegation next.

I’d love the management to stick a rocket up the squad but I suspect they’ll be pleased with a lot of what we did... again.

We just can’t get it forward. For 2 seasons we have been pxssing about at the back and losing games.
Everyone sees this and it is obviously wrong. Yet for some reason unbeknown to us all, they persist in the same foolhardy tactics.

Is it because that is how they play higher up the pyramid? Our academy coach players to play that way and that filters through to the 1st team. So we can market our players as having a rich and deep education in playing the possession based passing football that is so en vogue at the moment.

No but in the last three games Wycombe scored from a cross Sanchez would have caught, we’ve the conceded from two garbage corners, being bullied in our own six yard box when again Sanchez would have just come and claimed the ball.

Lynch is definitely not a viable long term number one.

That is absolutely shocking. You see it in our play though. We turn into naive children at times. We allow ourselves to be bullied. We've players who couldn't pass a cycling test thinking they're Rio Ferdinand. Lose to Shrewsbury at the weekend and that is them clear of us.
