Oh dear. I’m afraid it’s you that has just shown your true colours. That’s a very revealing post actually.
I’ve been objective throughout. I have questioned David Bottomley and defended him from unfair criticism as and when appropriate. You can ask the man himself whenever you next see him.
I’m very much looking forward to viewing the fans’ forum, which still hasn’t materialised for those who weren’t there. It’s very churlish to suggest I’d be unhappy with any satisfactory answers that were provided about the future of our club. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Tony Pockney and the financials, for example, and that has warmed the cockles before I’ve even heard his pitch for myself.
Trying to avoid the personal issues, the fact we had a forum that was successful was an insistence from supporters, both on here and via the Trust, that transparency around the direction of the club and accompanying information was presented to the entire fanbase in such a public arena.
It is a great shame that the promised recording of the evening, which was again pushed for via the Trust and agreed, hasn’t yet appeared as that positivity from the shared information is not meeting as wide an audience as possible ie all supporters.
