Firstly the 72 (erm, 71) FL clubs vote on how they believe the season should end, with a 51% majority needed (including 13 Championship clubs). Then if that passes, League One clubs vote later in the day about whether they still want to end the season early and how they want to do it. | | | |

Firstly the 72 (erm, 71) FL clubs vote on how they believe the season should end, with a 51% majority needed (including 13 Championship clubs). Then if that passes, League One clubs vote later in the day about whether they still want to end the season early and how they want to do it. |

So in the first vote mentioned above (which all FL clubs are taking part in and needs a 51% majority), there are actually 6 options.
These options have been put forward by:
-Barnsley (no relegations at all)
-Tranmere (PPG but with a margin for error - essentially Tranmere would stay up and more teams would be in the playoffs)
-Lincoln (points deductions taken into account when using PPG)
-Stevenage (relegation as normal, but none from League Two)
-Ipswich (an ‘alternative’ playoff system)
-The EFL (PPG. Relegations and promotions upheld. This seems to be the favourite)
Those 6 options will be voted for, going down the list in that order. The vote will end when one of the 6 proposals reaches a 51% majority (including 13 Championship clubs). If no vote can be reached, god forbid, the EFL go back to the drawing board.
After that vote each league then goes back and votes if they want to either continue the season, or end the season with the chosen proposal above put in place. Again a 51% majority is needed. | | | |
