Anyway, back then I had a go at predicting the Boxing Day/New Year games. These are the guesses I posted and the ones that have come off.

Yes, but that's because the season is finishing a fortnight earlier than the EFL in order to get the play-offs in.
We also only have two games in Christmas/New Year week, as opposed to three last season. (The EFL also has three this season).
Wembley is being used for the Champions League Final, so a lot of the other finals that are being held there have been brought forward. | |

Not ideal playing 2 promoted sides first 2 games. First away game at Oxford City is an interesting one. Not sure how many tickets will be available for away fans as it looks a tiny stadium. Also notice they are currently laying a new 3G surface so that’ll be another factor to add into the mix. Wouldn’t be surprised if one of our first two get picked for BT Sport.

The last game of the season I said there were positives. I had heard the Shay and the local drinking holes were great. So Halifax away was pencilled in for a trip up from Essex, but 23rd of December is a bugger. The journey home on Christmas Eve will be a right pain.
First Spotland visit will be for Southend, if they are still in the league and can get a team out.
