Whether people think its an advantage or disadvantage to play before or afterwards - we play after York's game 3 times in the run in. If we are still ahead of them (or 1 point behind) then I think its ok. If we are behind them and go further behind as in 4 or 5 points before we even play it will put us under a lot of pressure. I think this might help.
Think of all the players who are with middle teams or in fact all players up and down the league who are playing for a new contract for next season. These are people who have to impress their managers to recruit them for next season. No better way than a star performance late in the day. Against a top team even better.
This might level the playing field. in other words the players may have a bigger say than the managers. | | | |

It's a fair point. Don't think we stayed south after the Eastleigh fixture. The club email was headed by "The Long Trip to Southend" and that wasn't just about travelling fans. Did it make a difference? As you say, we look to have another tricky schedule next week |  |
