He seems to work well alongside Mani D, might even restore him to his best with intelligent interplay. We've seen it before
Rodney could then be the impact sub instead of spending half the game having no impact at all

When Henderson comes on as sub if Dieseruvwe is on the pitch it’s usually on the left of the three. Whether he can start there and be as effective with the amount of work required in that role would be up for debate. Would be interesting to see though.
It would however, see us play slightly slower as he’s less likely to take on a man like Barlow/Rodney do.
Of course, we could amend the formation to a three man midfield and two centrally up top which I’ve long argued we should be more adaptable to try, mid-game at least. You’ll hear no argument here that we are a bit too wedded to a system, which is admittedly very successful. |  |

Good bit of info around how often we shoot. The poorest displays recently - Sutton and Hartlepool- have seen that drop well below the average and the Morecambe game was really a tale of bad defending and not making the most of all our chances.
Across the season the Carlisle game stands out a bit. We were excellent that, McBride should have had a hat-trick, but didn’t get into double figures. | |

Fans were disappointed that we didn't go for it more on Monday but listening to McNulty's interview post match it was definitely a game he saw that we must not lose. Had we lost it was out of our hands - he's pinpointed the Wealdstone and Braintree games now as must win and obviously thinks this is our best chance of taking it to the last game. | |
