Just wondering on 16:27 - Jan 18 with 2422 views | TomRAFC | Allen makes an excellent creative replacement when Lund isn't available. Dicker can play the Cav defensive role. Well, he did it OK in his first few games before going off the boil. I don't think Tutte excels at any particular aspect of the game. When you take into account we have Hery in the squad aswell (who has looked nifty when he's played) no wonder Tutte is down the pecking order.

Has the potential to be a quality goalscoring midfielder. I really hope he's not getting disillusioned by the lack of game time, because he could be one of those players we sell on for big money if he gets the chance to develop. But with Lund and Allen as the attacking midfield options, it'll be difficult for him to break through. I hope he's a patient lad and Hilly's keeping him in the right frame of mind.

Just wondering on 10:34 - Jan 20 with 1805 views | ParkinsGimp | Much rather see the energy of Tutte or Allen than the pedestrian fouls of Cavanagh, I really don't rate him at all. I also am very suspect of his character in a vital game( red card etc), once a cheat always a cheat. I think we could of been 4 up against Leeds with a bit more purpose going forward. I realise Cav has played okay recently but who wouldn't look good in a very organised , fit and motivated team at present.

whilst not Cavs biggest fan! nobody can honestly think that if they had watched him play the last few games. Right on top of his game - Leeds included.

Yeah, lets not post anything that doesn't tow the party line? Surprised at you TTN, thought you had a more independent outlook. In posting critical comments, the emphasis is completely on how we can continue to be as successful as we are. Stand still and you fall back. Do I trust Hilly? Yes. Do I trust Dicker not to dwell on the ball and give away a key goal in one of our upcoming big games? No. Does Hilly trust Dicker. Yes. That's life.

Just wondering on 12:50 - Jan 20 with 1564 views | TTNYear | Just reflecting what others have posted in the last 48 hours. No party line to be towed. I rate Cavanagh after thinking he was crap under Coleman Dicker is being vilified over a handful (if that) of games earlier in the season. I disagree. Take Saturday he came on and did the same job (some may say better, but same at worse) as Cavanagh. I think with a player like Dicker, game time is essential. A few stray passes in a few games, and we may be guilty of throwing baby out with the bath water, if he was to leave. I think he's good enough... That's my thoughts, not anyone else's. " In posting critical comments, the emphasis is completely on how we can continue to be as successful as we are. Stand still and you fall back." I'd argue that your postings, or anybody else's postings for that matter, have had fook all to do with the team's success. Now stop having an over-inflated opinion of yourself and stop getting all conspiratorial when someone has a different opinion than you. [Post edited 20 Jan 2014 13:06]

So, you actually think I think I have some influence on the team - other than adding my vocal support on matchdays? It seems a poster can't post a genuine opinion (like I and TTNY have done) without you reading an utterly ridiculous implication into it. Get out from your own backside before suggesting others do it. [Post edited 20 Jan 2014 14:32]

That's fair enough. If anything, I think Dicker is having to re-adjust to the type of closing down that happens in L2 after being given a bit more room to play at championship level. At no point have I suggested he's a crap footballer, just that in Dale's current run of games I fear his style of play might become a liability for the reasons stated above. It'd be great if he proves me wrong.

Just wondering on 14:41 - Jan 20 with 1336 views | TTNYear | I wonder whether Cavanagh is suited to more this level, where as Dicker is suited to league 1 where more guile is required and dare I say it, you get more time on the ball. Instead do the 100 mph frenetic pace of league two. [Post edited 20 Jan 2014 14:46]

I think when he was in the first team, Dicker became too pivotal to our play. He seemed to be at the heart of everything we did. Teams worked that out, and reacted to that and we couldn't deal with that particularly well. When Cav plays, although positionally its similar, its a different game altogether. He plays more to counter what the opposition do, which allows the rest to flourish. The number of clean sheets now Cav is back in the side is no coincidence.

D_Alien You're the one who didn't appreciate TTN's initial post by, rather ridiculously, stating he was somehow towing some form of party line (what the fook did you mean by this?). You now want to say that actually TTN was voicing a genuine opinion. You've conveniently dropped the slur of him not thinking independently. You're the one who posted this:- "In posting critical comments, the emphasis is completely on how we can continue to be as successful as we are. Stand still and you fall back." I'm sorry but I see an inference there. The inference is this, by posting critically you are somehow providing an insight, whether taken up or not, as to how the club can continue to be as successful as we are. Sorry pal, but I find that a bit arrogant to be honest. You even provide us with the prophetic nugget "Stand still and you fall back". Thanks for that Dalien. The thing I love about you Dalien is that you're always trumpeting the freedom of opinion card. Fair enough, but you're the worse for not being able to handle an opinion different from your own. Your response to TTN's original point is case in point. [Post edited 20 Jan 2014 18:55]
