I think the circumstances hadn't quite sunk in when he did the interview, and it had clearly come as a shock to the coaching staff. He came across very well in the interview, and very directly addressed the sort of stuff fans have been wanting to hear in interviews for a while.
Hopefully throughout the season there's been some cogs turning in BBM's head about how he would do things, and he can bring a fresh tactical approach rather than a continuation of the approach we've seen so far.

Hope he does well, could do with him getting it full time as it would allow continuity of the club, not the first team as it needs an overhaul, thinking about the
Structure of the youth team and academy, would hate to have some of our prospects lost due to new management and changes from an outsider but sure board are aware of this

Really hope things work out for BBM. He is well liked within the club and that’s a good start. Players will want to play for him. He has learned a lot over the years and so he just needs to put his own ideas into practice. I hope he impresses over these next few games and therefore given the job. It is preferable for us to promote from within. If he doesn’t show potential then we appoint a manager from outside the club and no blame will be shown to BBM. At least we have given him a go.
I am really looking forward to today’s match.

1-0 at half time. As you say Shrews certainly been on top for the last 20 mins and probably could be level. Having said that Hendos miss was hard to believe & let’s hope it doesnt come back to haunt us.

This the match thread then? We look nervy overall, but part of that could be the conditions. Hoping we can settle down and boss the game in the 2nd. Inman totally outmatched vs. an actual giant. Ollie full of enthusiasm but also mistakes. Kosi has been ace so far. Amazing how he can jump as high as he does given his stature. He's like Tigger (careful) when he jumps.
