The past couple of seasons has been so draining being a Dale fan. I am hoping in the next couple of weeks, a new manager is appointed and we start to see some additions to the squad. I just want to read something positive and try to get some sort of excitement for the rapidly approaching season.

Eoghan O'Connell
Jim McNulty
Joe Dunne

Midfield:

Aaron Morley
Ollie Rathbone (rumoured to be off)
Conor Grant
Stephen Dooley
Ethan Brierley

Attackers:

Stephen Humphrys (about to be confirmed as gone)
Jake Beesley
Alex Newby
Abraham Odoh

2nd Year YTS:

Brad Kelly (Goalkeeper)
Mikey Caldwell (Defender)
Kacper Mialkowski (Defender/Midfielder)
Ben Kershaw (Midfielder)
Jordan Scanlon (Midfielder)
Peter Thomas (Forward)

1st Year YTS:

Ellis Craven (Goalkeeper)
Joe Cunningham (Defender)
Tom Lawless (Defender)
Max Sutton (Defender)
Paddy Watts (Defender)
Cameron Kyle (Defender/Midfielder)
Zak Greenwell (Midfielder)
Paul Kyffin (Midfielder)

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

Was it ever confirmed whether Thomas signed a new deal?

Well at least the Ladies Team has a new coach.

"First-year scholars Brad Kelly and Peter Thomas have been offered their first professional contracts."

From the retained/released list article. Don't think I've seen anything about them signing or not. Be surprised if they hadn't signed.

Poll: What are we more excited for?

Probably been done secretly before the "Night of the Long Knives" in early June.

If they have signed it means we've got a full roster of 3 keepers and a ready made replacement for Humphrys

I know you're trying to be glib, but the AGM/EGM of June 1st was not a bunch of SS guards going round murdering people they disagreed with.

It was simply a democratic vote where concerned fans took issue with people they disagreed with.

I suggest you either read up, or shut up.

Poll: Who do you think bury should appoint as their next manager?

Perhaps the concerned fans shouldn't have bothered, seeing as the ship is allegedly sinking and the rats are showing their colours. Perhaps it wasn't worth saving and Bottomley should have been allowed to continue using the club as his own personal piggy bank.

I'm extremely grateful the Trust were as proactive and diligent as they were. I'm very optimistic knowing what I've been told but would have bought a season card whatever had happened.
