I see that he is doing well for Bolton at the moement. Have to admit he was a complete tool for leaving us when he did.

One of the best midfielders for us in a long time and we dont seem to have anyone like him who ran all day in midfield.

Wasted talent should have done better

whether he was silly to leave or not, he still wouldn't be in our side so he would have moved on sooner rather than later anyway, much like Dobbie and Sinclair.

Excellent at championship level but cant compete with the talent we have at the club these days.

He's not that good. If he played in the Prem with us he would have been exposed all the time and got caught out too often.

Their dislike may be easing a bit after three goals in the last three games and evidence that Lennon is getting the best out of him.

Playoff semi final goal, swim away after scoring against the Scum, steadying the ship after coming on in the Playoff final.
Those three things alone mean he will always have my admiration.
Some of us don't half have short term memorys aye.

Can I just say how f*cking annoying it is that whenever I post something, I seem to be blessed with a bonus couple of 'n/t' posts.

Not you certainly.
It's just it has all the potential to turn into another thread slagging off a player who played his part in our rise up to where we are now

Prats at his best would do ok imo , played a huge part in our rise to the premiership and his work rate and fitness levels were right up there.......hope he has some success with Lennon

Always got time for Prats. A bloody well spent £100k.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I think he is remembered fondly for the part he played by most sensible jacks. Same with Roberto, as a manager, player and as a man he propelled us forwards. I cant say a bad word about the man regardless of how it ended.

He gave us some very memorable moments. He left under a bit of a cloud, but that was the only black mark.

Apart from the obvious memories (goals) I remember him running up the west stand touch line playing keep up for a good 20 yards - the defender didn't know how to tackle him!

A pleasant man too - didn't his Dad offer to clout people occasionally though?

Very good player for us and when he was in the team we were always better for it.I wonder if he'd have hacked it in the PL had he stuck around.I think he might well have.

Much like Dorus, we'd have probably ended up having to find better fairly soon, but he'd have done a job for sure.

I saw him in Sainsburys buying some soup although I am unsure as the flavour. He was wearing a velour tracksuit and I thought to myself that if he wasn't who he was I'd I've put him down as an out patient from Cefn Coed.
