It's gotten to be beyond a joke now. At this point I seriously don't know why we haven't given Tyler Reid or Connor Roberts from our U23s a try yet. There is no way they can be worse than Naughton.
Naughton is a complete liability if I've ever seen one, and practically all the results we've gotten have come in spite of him, not because of him. The more we keep putting him in the squad the less chance we have at staying up. It's as simple as that. [Post edited 5 Feb 2017 14:26]

Basics? He can't even do the bare minimum. When he's not giving people acres of space and all the time in the world to send a ball into the box, he's neglecting to track back or letting opposing attackers stroll right past him (often times with his back turned) completely unmarked.
Look at today's goal. After the throw in he had some sort of a brain malfunction and left Gabriel Jesus completely free. That was his man and he just let him walk right into the 18 and slam it home:
