FAO Will 21:18 - Nov 19 with 19714 views | Neath_Jack | As your role as associate director, did you used to attend the directors box at home games? I'm not talking about your role as Trust observer now, as i believe these are two completely different roles?

I believe he was referring to his time as Trust observer when he said that. I believe he was an associate director long before he become a Trust observer in there.

FAO Will on 21:25 - Nov 19 with 4932 views | MoscowJack | And why would a Trust person be taking their wife into the Boardroom or Director's Box when they are there for a reason? He can sit with or next to whoever he wants when he's in his own seat, but representing the Trust in the Boardroom or Director's Box is basically a job. It's like taking your wife to work with you!!! It just seems VERY wrong to me.

Club Directors are entitled to invite guests into the Boardroom. Similarly, Trust representatives are allowed one guest only. I think you should know that Nick, as you have been a guest on Martin Morgan’s table.

I thought you represented the Trust, Will? Surely if you had a +1, it should go to someone else on the Trust Board or a special (ie important) guest of the Trust. For example, taking one of the council people who were going to approve/deny the stadium lease....or someone who's normally working in the Trust pod every game.....or someone who the Trust want to thank for helping with their cause....but your wife, Will? The point isn't to be there on a jolly, it's to mix with people and understand the thoughts of people involved in the club, otherwise, what's the point in you being there? Is it just a perk or is it part of the job? As someone said to me earlier, would you take your wife to work? And yes, I have been there as a guest of Martin. So what?

Can't remember to be honest. Don't remember being in there after the sale to the Yanks though. Might have been the Swans 1 Villa 0 game about 18 months ago but not 100% sure. I don't see why that's relevant though, to be honest.

Probably 2 good rational reasons 1. Will’s wife works regularly in the pod 2. It wasn’t Will’s wife it was Nigel Hamet’s wife who works regularly in the pod

There was no such thing as an Associate (/Observer) director before the Trust stuck the deal with Kaplan in the summer. And I bet the company statutes haven't been ammended to set the position up oficially. It's more of a made up imaginary thing designed to keep the Trust board sweet, as i see it.

You are wrong here. Will Morris acted as associate director when Huw Cooze was supporters director. I have taken this from the minutes of the meeting. Associate Director: Will Morris who will serve for a period of one year until 31st July 2016

OK, I may be wrong about the timing of the appointment, but I'd still wager I am correct about the absense of the title associate director having any legal meaning. But perhaps more interestingly, as I was about to further strain my bad eye looking at the company statute om Companies House to try and check, I see the club has recently adopted new Articles of Association by order of Kaplan. Care to take a look and see if you can see anything interesting? https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/00123414/filing-history

Who knows, but it appear to be factually incorrect: >>>Shareholders owning 10% or more of the issued share capital in the ultimate holding company are: Stephen Kaplan & Jason Levien - 68% Swansea City Supporters Society Ltd - 21.1%<<< . . . unless the Delaware LLC has been disolved, i suppose.
