Bony, superb again son.

"He barely scored any goals in the first half year. "

Oh FFS...

Looks as if the captains job suits him. Thankfully he’s come good and scoring again, just when we need him most. He’ll be well fired up for the Man City match.

If a player, Bony for example. Doesn’t do much on the field then yes he will be a subject to Bony knockers. And rightly so.
If he does well and plays his part then the so called Bony knockers will start praising him.

There were loads of people writing him off on here before we had even signed him.

I actually expected him to do better than he has, not through any fault of his own, but I expected Clement to recognise his strengths and get players swarming around him, even if only on counter attacks. He’s got a harder job than last time he was here and so far, he has done it very well.

I'm amazed that it keeps needing to be repeated to be honest.

Laudrup basically used him as a Europa League option whilst he ran Michu into the ground in the Prem. Had he bedded him in fully in the PL sooner then he might have stayed in a job, and Michu might not have ended up so crocked. Only after MM was out long term did Bony have a decent run in the league and terrorised them.

And yeah, easily the best striker I've seen playing for us. Older heads might plump for Latchford. Oldest heads will go for Ivor, but he's been the class of the field for me.

I had to tell Anthony again on page one or two of this thread.

When Bony had played he has scored. Greatest striker by far ever to play for the Swans and no one better of his type in the Premier League. Hopefully we find the game that suits him.

Laudrup only started using Bony regularly after Michu was finally fuçked away to Cardiff and that was in November.

Agreed, he was a beast of a striker.

Had he been playing today he would be with one of the top 6 clubs earning £150k a week too

Nah people get so entrenched in their views they won't admit they're wrong. People were still calling Jason Scotland fat and useless when he was banging in the goals. Then there was that fella who was arguing that putting a flower pot in the goals would be more effective than Dorus De Vries despite his record breaking clean sheets.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Some of the shit Scotland used to take was absurd.

Got into a barney in the pub once with some bloke who slagged him mercilessly. Jase was already on about 25 goals for the season by that point.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I said Bony was outstanding at Wembley against Spurs. Others thought otherwise.
What I liked yesterday was his organisation when defending corners. He told others where to go and what to do. Mawson can learn from him.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

My favourite was the old boy in front of me frothing at the mouth about JS through the whole game against Rovers in our promotion season when we were 2-0 down, said he would not renew if we kept him. Next thing Bosh Bosh 2-2, the second a beaut.

Tosspot still didn't renew.

Have to admit I'm starting to eat my words, WB has been immense this past month, looks fit as a butcher's dog, and the decision to give him the armband has given this warrior wings by the looks of it!.... So come on Wilfried Bony.... 👏👏😎

Tosspot sitting near you and not renewing = result.

Got one near me, thick and extremely loud, and I think that everyone hates him. Not renewing or his demise would be a result for a good few people.
