This side's natural level in the English tiers of football is so obviously the Championship.

Population of Glasgow is almost three times the size of Newcastle

There is only one team to support on Glasgow and that depends on your religion.

Seems neathie, you cannot tolerate much in the way of differening opinions . If you see something you disagree with then the other poster is a tw@t.

People have different perceptions including Winston is is also not " right" anymore than I am " wrong"

Just imagine hordes of Celtic chums all over Swansea for a weekend ? Or a shower of Chesea shyte taking off to Glasgow .

Fact check for Perch.
Wiki says ....

The metropolitan county of Tyne and Wear, which consists of four boroughs as well as Sunderland (population circa 277,000), had a population of around 1,122,000.

The larger Greater Glasgow area has an estimated population of 1.2 million.

I wonder how many of these millions of Celtic fans could name 5 of their current first team.

The Scots who display the Eire flag

IRA was clearly held as heroes whilst British people were being butchered

The Irish flag should be consigned to history

How many of our American fans could name one of our players before we got in the Prem?

I don’t like Celtic but if they were in the Premier League they’d be massive.

I didn't say they wouldn't be big. I'm sure they'd be a decent PL side but there are huge sides in our top 5 or 6.

Not many would be able to name our players when we were in the Championship, just like I'm sure that not many would be able to name Celtic players while they're in the SPL, which was my point.

What is wrong with you, seriously now?

Where in this thread have i called anyone a tw@? In fact, where in this thread have i been insulting to anyone (apart from Celtic fans as i called their club vile)?

I've gone out of my way to explain politely (see the reply to Pencoed), my reasoning for thinking they would be a top 6 club in this league.

Just because you are too f*cking dim to offer a reasoned debate back, you've gone off on one.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Supporting a free Ireland is a valid political view to take, of course.
Its pretty normal not to want a neighbouring country to rule over you by force of arms. ☘️

I guess the Americans can relate to the struggle, as they have walked the same path.
Especially as 1 million Irish fled from the famine.
You might want to see some change after that one ...?
