Jenkins is NO hero! There is stuff going around saying the only reason the deal was roadblocked was because Leeds refused to pay any money upfront for the 'loan' i.e. not a penny until the end of season. What an absolute p1ss take it has all turned out to be!

Truth probably lies somewhere in-between the club offered nothing because he has 18 months left on a contract; the club pulled the plug due to savings elsewhere or Leeds messing about with the deal); Leeds' disrespect for Swansea resulted in them failing to get the paperwork done in time.

James' agent David Manasseh told The Telegraph: “Swansea made no attempt to keep the player and at the first sign of money they couldn’t show him the door quickly enough. It is very disappointing but the player is philosophical about it.”

While I agree with the sentiment against agents, I think he's done well by Dan James, by saying he was only leaving because he felt more wanted at Leeds. The yanks are more deserving of hanging than this particular agent I'd say. | | | |
