Verbal contracts can be held as valid. Cardiff went further and paraded and confirmed him as their player, before and after his death. Substance of behaviour executing the contract will probably hold, but who knows. Sad how some just can’t wait and see what happens, but are so bitter that they can’t resist making judgement without having a clue what they are talking about.
Personally I don’t care who pays what, I just feel desperately sort for that lad , the pilot and their families.

What is clear is that a contract existed between Sala, Nantes and Cardiff and that contract had been presented to the FAW. According to your statement the Premier league had rejected the contract and sent it back to you lot and that your club had failed to get it completed and signed. So because of your clubs incompetence the premier league hadn't authorised the deal. This really doesnt matter the contact had been signed and agreed and lodged with the Welsh FA. That means Sala was registered as a Cardiff player although one who couldnt appear in the premier league. He would have been allowed to play in Europe or the FA Cup although you had been knocked out.
It also appears because of your administrative problems the Sala family is about to lose out on 600,000 insurance. The responsibility for these issues lay with your club. It is your grubby club that is trying to get of paying monies because of its ineptitude.
Lets be honest we all know Tan has a history of problems with agents who he particularly despises and this plus your own ineptitude is the reason your shameful club is trying to avoid making this payment. | | | |
