Yep, tiresome.

The sooner people come to terms with the fact we called it right and they were yet again 5 steps behind, the better. We can then have productive threads instead of those people desperately trying to stem the tide and save face.

We had the same after we were proven right regarding the vote, it’s nothing new. It happens at every major turn when people suddenly are forced to wake up and smell the roses.

Well, well, well!!!
If this is true, it will be another glaring light for the supporters of the Americans on this board. It is a clear indication of how the Americans want our club to go, the Americans who our former directors sold out to for the future of our club.

If there was ever a modern tale of greed, the former board would have starring roles.

Now is the time for the trust to turn the screw and save our club.

So what you are saying E20 is that the American shareholders have pulled off another masterstroke and this is yet another piece of the puzzle in making us that competitive team in the next level backed by their vast resources?

Eh?

My points will be in bullet form then as people are having trouble...

- When people were complaining about lack of signings, I made the point we had no money so stop pressuring the club into insolvency.

- When people were complaining about Jenkins being our chairman, I made the point that while he is there, we have a slight bridge between action serving fans wishes and financial needs.

- When people were giving their all too regular “but we can appoint someone top class”, I made the point that you don’t make the decision so the appointment will be in line with exactly what the owners priority is - financial side of things.

- Fast forward to the present day. Jenkins was forced out after a last stand of making a footballing decision rather than the financial decision wanted, and we have a chairman in place who specialises in footballs version of austerity.

Everything you have been warned against and got us verbally abused week after week has come true. We will continue to live within our limited means which will probably result in further sales. Again something I said was the case a long time ago.

You asked me if I thought it was a master stroke and you asked me if we would invest with vast resources.

I answered both those fully while correcting your assumptions regarding my stance.

If you understand my points and have read them while not needing it repeated, pray tell how you could have come to the spectacularly wrong conclusions you did?

While this level of intentional misunderstanding happens on here, there will naturally be an awful lot of repetitive clarification.

I didn't mention anything directly relating to any of your bullet points. Maybe you accidentally directly replied to me in error.

The bullet points corrected your deduction I thought it was a master stroke (point 1) by showing you the simple pattern of why it developed, after various warnings. The result of which was then predicted and explained in my last paragraph.

The bottom paragraph also addressed your other point (point 2) by telling you we would not be heavily investing in the squad.

If you need an explanation of an explanation then we are in trouble here aren’t we.

Again this is mostly drivel I assume aimed at dodging the points I made or you have a bet with someone on who can post the most on the forum.

Well then look past what you deem as drivel and focus on the bits I labelled (point 1) and (point 2) which I did intentionally as I pre-empted yet another “I don’t understand” reply.

You asked if I thought it was a master stroke (answered in point 1).

You asked if I thought we would spend vast amounts (answered in point 2).

Any more help, just ask.

So you have had direct answers plus an extra clarification on my position and you still don’t feel it’s an answer? I even highlighted each answer.

You are just being very silly.

If this new chairman is looking after the financial side of things, do we still need Pearlman?

So just to clarify.

If the club hadn’t have been criminally mismanaged by a guy you backed through thick and thin, then an appointment like this wouldn’t be needed? Or no?

is someone suggesting jenkins was and has done a great job on the footballing side of things for the past few years?

sounds like his one attempt to actually do the right thing lost him his job.

fans had been calling for his head well before that, but only when he annoyed the owners was he shown the door.

Why is everyone pretending to clarify my points by making points I havent even made?

Seems odd.

If you are asking if the most successful chairman in our history was a better choice than Trevor Birch... yes he is.

Absolutely.

This proves the whole situation that most have stated on here for the last few years as absolute fact.

The whole board, ex board and sale was based on lies, deception and greed.
