Well I'm not going to argue too much as it was them and not us on the end of the decision, but I thought (a) Salah played for it by backing into the man and (b) threw himself down. There was the arm over the shoulder admittedly, but no pen for me. |

Couldn't see it at the time, down the other end from me, but most people in my local thought it was a pen. Didn't expect anything out of the game, the next 2 will decide our fate. Did OK first half, but once that 1st goal went in, everyone knew it was over. As for the Morrison miss, I think the lino was just about to put his flag up for offside, so not sure it would have counted anyway.
Great day out, good atmosphere, didn't hear the Pool fans until they scored. A few small pockets of joking Scousers in the Cardiff parts of the ground, who were very quickly dealt with by the Stewards, before it got out of hand. All good, onwards and upwards, probably downwards though! | |
