It's the safest steelworks in Europe and only an Australian plant beats it worldwide

Steelworks are a dangerous place I know that myself after 28 years service and been burned ending up in St Lawrence hospital in early 90s

I was in St Lawrence in the early 90’s. 😮

Whilst the works is massively safer than what it was 20 years ago, please do not believe their published injury / accident figures.

Tata are absolutely terrible at reporting true accident figures, and what they do to try and keep the figures down is disgusting. Only today i have had a blazing row with the safety department over this. They are the biggest hypocrites I've ever come across in industry.

It's where the chemical industry was 30 years ago.

You. Argue. With someone, I'm shocked!...

No, seriously, keep fighting for what is right mate.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Must have been the only person in port talbot who didn't hear it slept right through it but then again living in the land of the moving curtains the mountains perhaps muffled the noise.

Totally unrelated but what do you mean by "the land of the moving curtains"?

Sounds like something Dylan Thomas would have said.
