Brexit vote 08:52 - May 21 with 5041 viewsvalleyboy

Latest opinion polls this morning. Are showing that the Brexit Party has nearly as much as the Labour and Plaid Cymru vote combined

Killeneyjack must be crying in his tea this morning

And this is by a Party, that was only formed a month ago and still two days to polling

And Plaid Cymru wants independence for Wales

It will never happen

With massive strings attached.

You do realise we would have to re-negotiate hundreds of deals which have to be unanimously agreed first?

.. your first point is subjective and your second point is the whole point of the 2 year transitional period .

If the last two years have taught us anything, it's that it's impossible to finalise trade deals over such a short window. Unless you're dealing with the Faroe Isles of course.

I saw a great clip off a BBC Politics show earlier today. If those trade deals fail to materialise and we're under WTO, we'll be in the exalted company of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and North Korea in being the only other countries operating under WTO and trading with EU. Our biggest trading partner. Anyone who argues that's a scenario that would bring anything other than unmitigated harm to our economy is a blithering simpleton.

No welsh person should ever vote for Farage.

His policies are against our national interest.

Riddle me this - how come a party that started 1 month ago, with no mp’s or manifesto, has enough funding to mail shot ever house in the uk.

As Gordon Brown said, not so much man of the people ... more man of the paypal.

Vote Farage, vote unicorns.
Pitiful nonsense.

So you are saying that we should vote for Plaid Cymru

The party that changes its mind in wherever they are holding a rally

Thankfully we have 86% of the people of Wales. That thinks Plaid Cymru is a waste of space

You are a fecking moron then.

Farage is taking the piss and you cant see it.

If you think the Boris/Mogg posh boys alliance gives a damn for Wales then you are what they sneeringly call a ‘low information voter’.

So you're saying that people from Wales can't resonate with educated politicians from wealthy backgrounds?

That says more about your inferiority complex and how you're projecting that onto the Welsh population.

.. and tell me this, how would an independent Wales support its own national health system and other socialist policies Wales heavily relies on?

An independent Wales would have the same effect (maybe worse) on the socialist policies that you claim the ''posh boys alliance' are trying to undermine.

How many times?

a deal does not have to mean remaining in the SM, CU and every other EU institution.

But I can understand that pretend Brexiteer May has emboldened your viewpoint with her weak negotiating stance.

The deal on the table does none of those things. No single market, no customs union. To suggest it does is either lying or stupid.

A free trade agreement involves us signing the withdrawal agreement, it’s as simple as that.

And with the alternative of a no deal Brexit, there is no transition. A fact you obviously don’t grasp. And no FTA, because that requires signing the withdrawal agreement. Repeat ad nauseum.

You’re talking absolute, unadulterated nonsense. “But, but, we’re British”. Get a grip on reality.

May’s ‘deal’ kicks the can down the road in the hope that Brexit will fizzle out.

I’m advocating a FTA, it’s you that’s trying to redefine the meaning of ‘deal’ to suit your desire for a watered down Brexit.

I’m sure we have been over this before.

Far more informed people than me have called King's comments unworthy of his former office. If only they knew an incompetent engineer agreed with him, I'm sure they'd reevaluate his bonkers utterances..
