So you stopped using it as a tactic then because you didn’t t score?

Strange that, as you did it at almost every throw over half way in every match I saw you play.

Why deny it? If we had someone who could chuck it, I’d rather see that than us immediately give the ball back to the other side at every single throw. Your problem is that you have little else other than hoofs into the mixer and speculative shooting from 25 yards.

That’ll probably do the job in this league mind you.

Wasn’t there one game where one of their players took 8 minutes setting up long throws?

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Poll: Should Dippy Drakeford do us all a massive favour and just bog off?

Can you point out where I said we'd stopped using it?

I said we rarely if ever score from them. That went back to previous stint in Championship.

I’ll help

Cardiff City's defeat Burnley could have huge ramifications for the Bluebirds' Premier League future, but in the short term has prompted questions about the amount of time wasted in football matches.

Football's law-makers are reportedly investigating how to cut down on time-wasting after it was revealed eight minutes of the Bluebirds' 2-1 defeat to Burnley was taken up while Sean Morrison prepared to take throw-ins.

The Times reported that the ball was in play for just 42 minutes and 2 seconds during the Super Sunday clash, with more than eight minutes waiting for Morrison to launch a long throw.

Hmm. Morrison takes throw ins in the defensive half, not opposition half. Seem to recall there were a few injuries in that game, quite a niggly one, so suspect delays were more due to players getting treatment.

Read a similar Mail story. 20 throw ins taken by Morrison, so 8 minutes = 480 seconds. So what, 24 seconds per throw in?

In your wildest dreams. Bodde was a skilled ball playing tough tackling type while Rajkovic was a few levels above - a Rolls Royce type player who would have graced any side in the top division while we were up there. Patterson? Isn’t that some kind of biscuit?
