Getting a bit of stick for not living up to his initial hype (he's never been on the same level as Naughton no matter what many people claimed) but he's got talent. Unfortunately that talent has regressed over the last 18 months or so.
Needs to knuckle down, work hard and rediscover what he had. Whether he can do that under a manager who many other players have regressed under is another matter. |  |

Just had his house screwed and cars nicked so his head is probably frazzled. Bournemouth were close to taking him last summer for £10 million and all the stuff that goes with it might be contributing to his mental state- but the bottom line is that he’s been poor for us all year and he’s often venting frustration at his teammates. Bottom line, he’s not half as good as he thinks he is. Naughton is a cut above defensively and he couldn’t lace Angel’s boots as an attacking full back. The honeymoon is over- grow up young man and show everyone that you are more than a one-season wonder. |  |

Admittedly he hasn't had the best of seasons but the fella wear's the clubs heart on his sleeve. If some of our players had half his passion for the club we would be better off. Our inexperienced defence has been under the pump all year and I think that has put the shackles on him.
I've met him a few times and found him down to earth and he always has time for the fans especially the kids, so not convinced he has too big an opinion of himself.
I like the lad. He is still young and some to learn and will develop into player we expected him to become. |  | | |
