To be fair, most people who found that boring probably didn’t understand it. There were worse fights last night that would have looked much more exciting.

I didn’t see it so haven’t commented on the fight itself. Mine was a more general point. MMA fans are in general quite defensive. I’ve seen good MMA fights and boring ones. Same as good football matches and boring ones. Ditto cricket etc.
“TechnicalL” is one of those words pundits use when trying to find something to talk about after a deathly dull 0-0 draw. “One for the purists that one, Gary”.
