The insistence that the prem clubs are forcing us to play their players is silly. Surridge never even played for ages. Only did when they realised he was more effective that Borja.

Common place

Don't know about Bournemouth but didn't Klopp go out of his way to say the club's policy on loan players, that affected Bristol, wouldn't apply to Brewster?

"Liverpool are set to continue the controversial policy of fining clubs who do not utilise their loan players, and it could haunt Leeds United.

Bristol City fell foul of the system last season when they failed to play misfiring Ryan Kent enough times for the Reds' liking.

The Robins were reportedly slapped with a £500,000 fine by Liverpool after he played just 10 games for City, starting six of them."

Borja was more effective this season than McBurnie was last season ... until Bournemouth insisted Surridge had to play.

He’s started 15 games this season and came on 5 times. 6 goals isn’t a terrible return, but when you consider the bulk of them came in the first few games, the rot had started way before Surridge took his place. There’d have been riots on here if we’d dropped a free scoring striker for a loanee.

Borja Baston update
Reports recently suggested that Bordeaux were keeping tabs on Swansea striker Borja Baston.

But L’Équipe now claim that the Ligue 1 side have had a €2.5m bid accepted by Rio Ave for Iranian international striker Mehdi Taremi which should end any possibility of a move for Borja

It's being reported that we have offered Baston to Leganes as a back-up plan, in case they fail to land their preferred targets.

Looks like we are touting him around Europe!!

Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎
