In all seriousness, is there any need for games to be cancelled? Why not just play games behind closed doors?
Same with the Ireland v Italy rugby game in Dublin...just get the coaching/playing staff over and play the game. Not sure if you'd still get fans coming over to watch in bars though. |  |

We now have such a high percentage of season ticket sales, it means that attendances are not reliable indicators of very much at all anymore.
Also, 'most people' would be happy to see Liverpool lose their next four or five games.
