I was in a quiz team at the time and someone approached me saying that their nephew from Ireland had got on it and that they could get me on it as well. I was told that they had 6 out of the 10 contestants in the studio for one show.
I was also told how the initial question and the phone a friend worked and that I'd have to give them 25% of any winnings. Their nephew had won £32,000.
Because the person was from Belfast I honestly thought paramilitaries were behind it and said no.
After all this time I've now found out it was just other quizzers responsible. [Post edited 14 Apr 2020 10:57]
