Don’t wish to spread negative stories after a win but I think the relationship between Cooper and Winter may not be that good, or am I over thinking it?

Or as Brighton did with Gyökeres, Potter decides to play him even though he’s signed a new striker and knows he’s going, he’s going to Swansea tomorrow but he needs another run out. And yes, that happened.
Communication.

Communication Keith, yes that's they key word, I dont think winter knows it though.

Can understand that, but the way it’s been done, if Cooper is telling the truth, is shocking. Problem is, Winter has previous for this and that does not bode well.

Agreed, this should have been a phone call, not a text. Still though, we weren't using him and we are well stocked in that department.

I understand Cooper being angry about the way it's been done but if we have players we aren't using that cost us money, why keep them?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Cat Pedersen has been on the bench for the last 4 competitive matches so imo he has been in coopers plans.

More and more this looks like a co-ordinated ploy to get Steve Cooper out. sadly by the sound of things its going to succeed.

One of Winter's best mates is Wagner. Any one want a bet?

We don't use wingers and he's just brought in another striker.

I believe there was a meeting on Tuesday to sort out the approach to transfers up to the 5th October window involving Julian Winter, Steve Cooper and Andy Scott.

Obviously they came out of the meeting without agreement, or someone is doing something not agreed at the meeting. If there were developments after the meeting, the onus is on the individual to talk to the others about what has happened and agree the way forward.

Julian Winter has repeatedly said he is in charge, a good leader would find a different way of saying it, because I’ve worked in enough boardrooms to see egos at work, and anyone who has to keep saying they are in charge, is a poor leader.

There was never any doubt in my mind that Trevor Birch was in charge but I don’t remember him needing to say it, he demonstrated it by the way he acted.

I can only see us using a winger or wingers if we go to a back 4.

Decades of expeirence of sackings, resignations ,board room fights, mix ups, confusions, death threats, fistycuffs, misunderstanding. Done it all.

Sounds like a nightmare and a gross waste of resource. The stuff of poor organisation and failing relationships.

At the end of the day it is basic professionalism and common sense. And of course not just addressing such failures, and damage to vital relationships with a shrug of the shoulders and the attitude that these things happen.

One would have thought we'd have learned lessons by now.
Clearly not.

Nothing, sadly, will change until we rid ourselves of the jerks who run the club.

So much potential frittering away.

Mr Birch told fans he was "in Charge" several times and even face to face in the forums he organised.

He stated he was responsible for all aspects of day to day running of the club and he was let to do his job without interfrerence for the majority US shareholders.

The turning point was the statement of the 'Silverstein investsment' (loan) where there was no sign of Birch. He left shortly afterwards for a much better paid role (I would imagine). Silverstein himself in the post stated he wuld be taking a "hands on role in running the club".

Cooper might have wanted to keep Peterson but Peterson told the Chairman he did not want to play for Cooper. Such players are no use to Swansea. You will have noticed Cooper has dispatched all the Potter's signing dumping two players on the scrap heap, McKay and John. Losing one of your own signings is tougher to deal with. With Peterson and Kalulu gone Coopers record on signings is actually impeccible as Bidwell scoops up another MOM.

When one set of 'jerks' go another set of 'jerks' turn up. The Trust themselves got rid of the most sucessful 'Jerk 'in the clubs history. His 'jerkery' saw their own investment rise x100 and the establisment of Swansea as the biggest club in Wales and the West superb facilities and string of top quality managers and coaches.

"Rid ourselves" with what?, The 'super jerks' that were running the Trust have £800k in the bank enough to pay Ayew until Christmass. Worth £21m in early 2016 they forgot to sell up at the top of the market. The Trust cannot learn anyhing because they still think they have done well and everybody else is to blame.

Winters came with a personal recommendation of Brendan Rodgers. A man tht never has any issues with anyone.

Ah yes, how could we forget Loyal Brendan. Jumped ship as soon as he had the chance. And came back for our best midfielder. You might want to ask his ex-wife that question.

Swansea got £7m compensation for BR and £15m for Joey the highest fee ever garnered for him. His club career has not gone well since after he did not help HJ negiociate a return to Swansea. The £23m was very useful to Swansea and allowed for the signings of Michu,
Chico, JDG and Hernandez. Naturally my comments are limited to football club matters only.
