I did my time in that job and it served its purpose but any idea the job was one where you were respected was killed within my first 20 yrs. People either fawn all over Police -for their own purposes- or they hate you-because you lock up their offspring or cramp their style.
The Laws are passed by politicians wo always have an angle and all law are interpreted-by lawyers .
Millions have died from this curse and there is more outrage over how we fight it than how we allowed it to slaughter us. Why did people go abroad and act like clowns,why fight air crew over a drink,why do they not wash hands etc.
These are the actions they are killing us |

It is not difficult. It is impossible.It is impossible as people want what THEY want from the Police force or service ,as it is called now.
Make no mistake, one day,however bad they are ,one might need them.
Frankly,Ive no idea a to why they bother with a public so cowardly as ours.
I criticised a Barrister once and got banned.Yep, a legal chap who made out justice was foremost rather than fee. However,it is acceptable to refer to them as "pigs" . | |

I'm afraid the police are losing the respect from their communities because of the real and perceived inequality of policing.yes there's a lot of good performed by them as would be expected of anyone trained to carry out a specific task but as you say playing politics is now more important than to do the job they are paid to undertake.Can anyone in their experience state that all facets of the oath is undertaken , I can't which is a pity but then I suppose it just shows we're all human .
