Whisper it quietly, but promotion sides are traditionally built on a solid defence such as this.

2 points from top, the only teams above us were in the Premier League last year.

I suppose this season Celina £3m Peterson £1.5m and Rodon £11m up to £15m might eventually get to £18.5m. Rodon's extra will probaby come next season with extra appearance money I would imagine.

The convertable loan terms from Mr Silverstein described as an investment are a bit of mystery. Winters has stated conflicting information. Firstly he said it was a 'small' loan but later explained the club were surviving of these types of loans. The terms of the convertable loan my be related to the club being in a competetive position around Christmass time to be spent on recruitment perhaps? It could also be related to any pending legal claims not being forthcoming. I would like to know what form Mr Silversteins 'hands on' approach is actually manifesting itself.

And the stats are improving, 11/20. Joint 3rd goal diff with league leaders Norwich.

Lowe has kicked on to strengthen that perceived weakness upfront.

Our ability to push on in matches like we did 2nd half yesterday to turn the screw is a big difference to last season.

Jan window will be interesting.

And the stats continue to improve - 12/21 CS, 2nd in the league and joint 3rd GD (and now ahead of league leaders Norwich).

Lowe continues to lead the way. Spine is strengthening from game to game (Grimes has been on fire at the core of the spine).

Re Cooper - not sure to what extent this is planned or accidental. Difficult to tell from his demeanour and body language but deserves benefit of the doubt (and would prefer him to the likes of T Frank, J Tindall - the two other form teams).

Has any of that got anything to do with this thread or is it just you trying to rake the mud.
