Being told if they boo the knee gesture they wont be welcome at the ground.
I wonder if we are not too far away from ejections from the ground for booing?

OK I've changed it.

No mate, they do, we do.

Really, try and obsess somewhere else.

how's the weather there, you fit and well now after your bump, good day in work, did you shut down many accounts, how's your Mrs, ready for Christmas, you coming home for it, are you even allowed?

You may do. I hope so, because you had no idea of the origins prior to the last 48 hours. Others clearly still don't as this thread shows. Strange you are still clicking on these threads though after what you said yesterday, I told you that you loved it didn't I?

Weather fine and all fixed up now. Cheers.

Thanks for obsessing though, flattering, If a little funny. You do get a bit like that when you get a bee in your bonnet. I can only hope you can drop the tired old nonsense and get back to your best again. If you disagree with something, then put a point forward.

Well Colchester are standing by the gesture.

Yea I don't really care what the gesture is within the reason (not an ayatollah or something). If the players wish to do this other gesture id fully support that too.

Then we are all on the same page. The less divisive the action the better right? The goal is more important which is bringing everyone together against racism, which currently the political side of it is stopping.

Have Colchester had a home game with fans yet? Serious question.

Well there you go, it seems our parameters for what is acceptable simply differ. Why this would result in certain accusations is baffling.

EDIT - I see they have played a home game before and the chairman is taking a stance. Fair enough. Let's see how it plays out.

It would have been less divisive if the Millwall fans hadn't booed their own players mind and let them do this gesture for a few seconds before kick off.

We'll see if they still boo with the alternative gesture their next game.

The issue hasn't fundamentally become more divisive in the past week. People have had issues with this since the beginning. It's wasn't a racism issue. If I'm not racist, how's it an issue for me? Because BLM are dangerous.

That's enough for one morning. I believe we share the belief than an apolitical message in sport is better than a political one, regardless of where we stand with taking the knee.

Enjoy your day.

I put my foot forward.

Told you I wasn't intersted in 'the origins' or the founder members because that's not what this is about. I had read up on it, but dismissed it out of site. The same I do with all the alt-right truth twisters where this sort of stuff gets its first airings before being swallowed up by the army of bots and hopeless sheep.

Said it a few times.

But you are going around and around saying the same thing.

Don't your get ever bored of, I don't know, yourself? The repetition?

I still like you, spent a little while going throug our messages. You're nothing like this there. An interesting lad with an interesting story.

And not one political post, or hardly any for 15 years on here and now this....

Don't you think that's strange. Makes me think these things aren't usually high up on your list of priorities.

Whatever that's changed, only you will know, but is it really so important to spend your waking life on here saying the same thing over and over.

Give me a bell mate, love to hear all about this over a proper chat.

That's not what it is about ''to you'' mate. That's the key.

That's the point I responded with at the time. The point is what it means to others, others that know the politics behind it. Whether you care for the political connections doesn't make a difference to anything we are discussing, because others do, and that is the point.

I am fond of you, you know that and have stated it many times on here. But we aren't going to see eye to eye politically. That's abundantly clear. You also know me well enough, I would hope, that I am not going to change my mind just because someone disagrees.

So you are going to have to make a decision really on where we stand because it's not going in a positive direction is it currently. You have said you have cut ties with your mates because you disagree politically with them, which is something that wouldn't even cross my mind. Happy to disagree and enjoy the exchange of views that brings. There is a trend at the moment that if you don't agree with someones politics then they are the enemy - it's bonkers. I am not being hostile to you at all for your opinions am I? Or I would hope I wasn't.

15 years ago I was 20, the only thing I cared about was football. People grow, people develop different interests and as I am sure you found out yesterday, as of 2 years ago it is also now a large part of my profession. But my beliefs have been the same forever, I have always hated identity politics, its dangerous and despise the notion of communism for the common sense fact it has never worked anywhere.

Does it bore me? Not really. People interest me, every interaction is interesting.

Maybe it hasn't just become divisive now, but the divisive act of booing your own footballers has now been carried out.

I respect your views on what BLM may represent and your stance on not outwardly and publically lambasting and criticising our players at games to me gives your views more weight.

Yea as i said, within reason the players can do any act they feel necessary to convey their message.

No, I clearly stated that's not what it mean to the vast, VAST majority of people supporting this.

But you know that, mate, you really do. You just want to hammer the same points over and over again. To the same people - of which none of them are supporting this movement because of Marxism. But you know that as well.

Yeah I saw you got the politics gig but god knows what that means in the minuscule betting market in Australia. And why you? How did you get from tennis to politics? Don't tell me they were impressed with your 50,000 posts on a football forum were they?

Also, why is it so important to repeat the same stuff on a message board 10,000 miles away? Are you trying to further a cause? What exactly are your politics now?

A lot has changed in the last 2 years, never mind the last 15. Have you really "grown up" that much in that time? Trumpism was around before that - you didn't bat an eyelid.

Can we come up with something else to get your teeth into? - Let me think, I'll get back to you with some ideas.

But again it doesn’t matter, the goal is unity. It needs to represent it to everyone, which it clearly doesn’t. So it’s not fit for purpose is it. I am not saying people are supporting it because of Marxism, I am saying people are rejecting it because of Marxism. It’s a huge difference.

The Australian market is massive, second only to the UK, although the politics market, specifically the US market is the biggest globally considering it is unable to be backed in the States. I got the job because of my political market expertise and have worked successfully in the industry internationally.

What has distance got to do with anything? The forum isn’t a physical place is it, that’s the point of a forum. I have posted here forever, you think I should start supporting the Brisbane Roar or something? Did you go to a game when you were over last? Horrific.

My politics mirrors my views on everything, it’s purely common sense and whatever that represents at the time. Which most certainly isn’t calling everyone and everything under the sun a racist or a fascist because they don’t like left wing extremism.

I don’t repeat things for no reason, if something is repeated then it will mean I am asked the same question. This thread being a prime example of that.

Do you give people that much credit? That "they" are rejecting it because of Marxism? On Twitter they are because they're cocooned in their echo chambers. So is it really them that's rejecting it or the bots and influencers who are stringing mugs along?

Which one are you? A string puller or a mug?

The Aussie market is second only to the UK? In what way? Don't be ridiculous, what's the population over there these days 16m? Send me some supporting evidence for this, I've text you this morning.

When did you get this political expertise? That's not how it works is it. It's like these runners at the BBC, one minute they are making the tea and calling people to get them on the show, the next they are the show. Your expertise is tennis and understanding betting loopholes - you've got a grip on statistics because of this. The tail wagged your dog and you were recruited. I'm not knocking you, I was hanging on your every word when you told me about your life and what you do now.

No, I didn't get to a Brisbane Roar game, do you? Do they have a forum? Shall we follow them together and spam their boards?

Swansea has enough problems with politics at the moment. Swans fans are very right wing and mostly always has been. I've grown up a lot and the "friends" I have lost now as you keep commenting on weren't really friends anyway it seems. It's a choice of mine to distance myself from their ugly views. My observations, my feelings, my decisions.

You are an extremely private person. You don't give much, at all away, so I am very skeptical in believing quite a few aspects of what you say. It's easy to "say" things when you are so secretive. It's not so easy in the real world.

You have your real world and you have your cyber world. They are markedly different I am sure of that.

I am not a left wing extremist, not even left wing. My mind is up for grabs and can be changed. Some see this as a weakness and to mock. No problem for me. When I was a child I played with childish things..... you are playing with childish things but are influencing people 10,000 miles away. I find that dark.

You repeat for sport. It's facking boring mate. You must know that.

It’s amazing that people think Millwall are the first to reject this.

It has nothing to do with Millwall. People of all races, nationalities, genders and beliefs dislike what they stand for, because to them it’s political and their political manifesto is utterly bonkers.

I wear a poppy and donate to the RBL to honour those before us, who fought and died so people like yourself can hold the opinion you have and have the right to protest peacefully and freely.

James McClean gets the attention he gets because he publicly backs the IRA while playing football on these shores, posting pictures of himself in a balaclava etc talking to his kids. The guy loves the attention and that's a fact.

And that's a political statement you're making, for the reasons you stated. It's something you sincerely believe and wish to show your support for. Others wear it for different reasons, or don't wear one.

James McClean has a different perspective on British soldiers due to the upbringing he had. I don't agree with his stance but it's no more or less political than your own decision to wear one. "Political" isn't an inherently dirty word or a criticism. But a persons politics (or the statements they make be it intentionally or inadvertently) can be disgusting, or naive, insincere etc.

I do yes. Not just Marxism but what they stand for as a whole with regards to the family unit and their role in the year of mass rioting. People don’t like it.

I am someone who considers things carefully and makes a decision before jumping in, hence why I knew the roots and the current aims of the organisation. So neither of those options I wouldn’t have thought.

Yes it is, it is the biggest US politics market globally, second largest sporting market globally (certainly in my company chain) although possibly third now that regulations have relaxed in the States. I may know a little more than you on that one mate, what you reckon? After your last rant I blocked further updates so I won’t get your texts but once you have returned to your normal self I’ll probably revise that.

I have always had good knowledge of politics, certainly in the last 3 years or so where I have been providing markets to sister companies. I have never made the tea and went in at the top level due to my experience. Probably the same reason you got your gig. It’s how it works.

Yes I have been to a Roar game, they are awful. Happy to go with a game with you and yes we can go on their forum if you like I’m sure they would be glad of the figures. But you would have to be a bit friendlier on there so they don’t think we are nuts.

Absolutely you cutting ties with them is absolutely your choice, I’m not having a go at you for that. But I’m just saying that we aren’t going to agree politically either so it’s down to you if you want to continue being civil to eachother or not, I have no issues with differing political views. But you do.

Well I had no inclination you didn’t believe me on certain things, hardly makes it worthwhile talking then really does it? Or asking me anything at all. I have no interest in convincing you or anyone, you make your own mind up.

Who am I influencing? I am giving my view. Aren’t you influencing people by insisting BLM is not a political movement? Or does that only work when it’s something you disagree with. Seems a odd stance to take.

It may be boring to you, but then again as I have said several times now, I think you love it. For all your protestations of how bored you are, you have spent the majority of your time on here talking to me and on politics threads. Don’t you see the contradiction there?

Are they generally the same section who have a perverse fondness for Glasgow Rangers?
