The Celtic counties need to breakaway from England otherwise it will be perpetual right wing Governments in power in Westminster due to English voters weight of numbers.

Too bad that Labour had the best policies and won the argument but not the vote, the Conservatives had no idea and stole Labours policies and that there was a number done on Labour over antisemitism.
The English are a strange breed, they seem to vote for a 'brand', do they all want to be upper middle class and all expect to be that and do they associate that with the Conservative party ? when lots of them do ordinary jobs if indeed they even have a job.
The strange thing what with a lot of working class voting Conservative is that a lot of middle class voters with a conscious these days vote Labour.

Labour had no policies except more misery for everyone. No one was ever going to vote for extremists like Corbyn and McDonnell. Even in Scotland labour are unpopular. Just as unpopular in Wales but too many have voted for labour for ever and will continue to do so even for the useless Drakeford and his cronies.

The Conservatives have been pinching Labours policies for years, the Green revolution being one of the recent ones, lol.

Labour could have delivered more misery than Johnson has.

Labour not delivered anything for Wales in the 20 years that thet have been in charge. Failed NHS, failed education system, gridlocked M4, poverty in all of Wales except Cardiff bubble. Time the Welsh people voted Drakeford's shower out of the Assembly.

Under Johnson 70,000 people have died from Covid.
Germany has lost 35,000.

Almost anyone would have done better than Johnson.
Even you Felix.

The Welsh vote the way they believe, the English don't, when the English are asked what policies they like they like Labour policies but all the same they still vote Conservative, strange but there you go.

At least you have the mindset to state your case.

Think you will find the people in England are happy to the way they vote based on policies. That is why labour came to power several times and even the liberals had periods when they got large numbers of votes.

Meanwhile in Wales the Welsh vote labour no matter how bad labour are.

Labour the party of the working class not now they're not , Blair, Brown Brexit with an aim to have second referendum , Corbyn non committal whilst sitting on the fence ,collapse of the vote in Scotland have all contributed to the decline of the labour vote .

Had the best policies and won the argument? Oh no, they very much lost the argument as proved by the result. Saying otherwise is delusional.

Thing is, you can't copyright a policy, if it looks like a good idea you can expect other parties to take a look and possibly adopt the idea.

In the long run it should be about what's best for the whole country, I don't care who has a good idea or which government implements a good idea. I just wish the politicians wouldn't keep on making a mess of good ideas or having really bad ideas and keeping going with them even when it's obvious the people hate them, like HS2.

I just wish a government would have the balls to say we remain committed to NATO but we're wcrapping nuclear weapons. Even if NATo fell apart I'd rather strike some kind of deal with the USA whereby we pay a certain amount to them for a nuclear umbrella. With the money from nukes we could see extra payments towards our national debt and still have billions to invest in the country. trident will cost approx 205 billion over 25 years (that's the projection, it might cost a lot more) 3 billion per year towards debt and 5 billion to invest. Or maybe even a one off lump payment, for Wales that could be 30 billion.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Paying the Americans is no good they were fighting the crown back in the day.

In fairly recent times the Yanks were said to be going to nuclear bomb us off the face of the earth during the cold war if the Warsaw pact countries invaded the West they reckoned they would reach the channel ports in days and then the Americans would have nuclear bombed us to stop the Russians using Blighty as as launching pad for their nuclear missiles to hit the USA, as their missiles would not reach from Eastern Europe but some would from Britain.
Don't trust the Yanks with our safety, they are no friends of ours.

That is pure nonsense, the Russians could already reach the USA with their nukes hence the 4 minute warning.
If there was an invasion the Yanks would need the UK again, as in WW2 for a staging post to launch the fight back.
As soon as the first nukes was launched it wouldn't matter either way, we'd all have lost.

This is another thread based on xenophobia though, another anti English rant where you say the Celtic nations need to free ourselves from the English.

No future for the English left is an observation on an Al Jazeera article.

The 4 minute warning was a British warning to its people.
