You're right. It's all in the genes apparently. Yet for me it's about intelligent choice. Yin and Yang makes perfect sense. And it's all about balance. Forums would be dead without the opposing views, and should be encouraged not frowned upon. Typically, cleverer types err on the positive. Rational thinkers. It's how stuff gets done. Football players err on the positive, it's how they win. Overtly negative types are often unable to see how negative they actually are, so makes sense to list what negative looks like (on here) : - irrationally critical of management and players, especially when we're 2nd in the league - pounce on the first whiff of weakness in team performance - the brunt of which dumped on Cooper and Grimes - the Brentford aftermath was abhorrent yet entirely predictable of some - always moaning - the owners, the manager, the players, especially Grimes - willing the team to lose, to gain some cheap shots on a fans forum. Let's see what happens should we unexpectedly lose tmw - only turn up when we're losing, and gloat - glass empty, not even half way full There are hundreds of these types littered around the Liberty. Miserable, tired types that ought to do something else on matchdays. We started to call them out, ask them politely to sit down, stop hurling abuse at our young team and get a grip. -

| Positive v Negative on 20:28 - Jan 29 with 448 views | Dr_Winston | There are those who take great joy in the team struggling, no matter how hard they try to deny it when challenged. They're easily identifiable by how active they are after a poor performance. Maybe they'll even start threads complaining about how hard done by they are by people criticising them when they do. There are those who are generally quite happy with how the team does, but see no point in pretending that poor performances can be glibly dismissed without properly analysing them for worrying traits. Most of those who had issues with Garry Monk in the 14/15 season fall into this category. There are those who will defend the team and management no matter what. Admirable to a degree, but not to be taken too seriously as in the long term they tend to end up with egg on their collective faces. As with most things, the middle ground tends to be the smartest path to follow. [Post edited 29 Jan 2021 20:42]

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Beep beep. Poster reversing. If you didn’t want me to reply to you, then why on earth you decided yet again to seek out my post for your nonsense I will never know. Anyone would think I’m right under your skin... Think before you post, champ.

The middling types are the ones to watch aren't they. They sit on the fence, trying to look all clever, all seeing, aloof. Whereas in reality these are the 'greys' in the crowd who jump at every opportunity to criticise. They're only ever 'quite happy'. But suddenly can become irrationally vindictive, violently tapping their keyboards with pent up aggression, chomping at the bit to mention the Monk word, their ace card. Eager to over analyse our weaknesses, but totally absent in analysing our strengths and accomplishments. The volume of Negative posts and deep Negative analytics from our heroic draw against Brentford, where the usual suspect Negative types were joined by the deeply disturbing middling crew is telling. In this case it seems the middling ground is the flakiest place to be.
