I repeat. You said “left wing”.

If you meant to say communist or socialist you wouldn’t have had an argument from me.

You don’t hear me say anything of the sort. You can read what I write but don’t put words into my mouth.

Clearly you said one thing but meant something else so it’s been a waste of energy.

I wouldn't put anything in your mouth Joe.
My comments stand.Left wing. Comminism is left wing, right wing is reactionary or simply the devil's right hand . Or so it seems.

Detailed article from the New York Times. Long but well worth a read.

https://www.nytimes.com/intera

'To shine a light on one of the greatest spending sprees in Britain’s postwar era, The New York Times analyzed a large segment of it, the roughly 1,200 central government contracts that have been made public, together worth nearly $22 billion. Of that, about $11 billion went to companies either run by friends and associates of politicians in the Conservative Party, or with no prior experience or a history of controversy. Meanwhile, smaller firms without political clout got nowhere.'

Article dated December 17th 2020.

Not let's have a gander at who and whom fund Labour.

Really we should disband the Tories and in fact all opposition as they are all wrong and none of them support the working class.

Never mind. There's absolutely no point.

Bearing in mind I cannot stand Toynbee and have to filter out some obvious spin in some parts, she's dead right.

This government is guilty of cronyism, chumocracy, it's corrupt and self serving to an extent I don't remember seeing before.
The scandal over these contracts cries out for an investigation. Hancock can say he doesn't care ( I don't remember him saying that but that he felt he'd done the right thing) or whatever he did say because he knows one simple thing, as long as he does what Bojo tells him, he's pretty safe.
I've banged on before about the civil sevice, used to annoy clasie with it. Ive said many times our civil service is bent. High up people sign contracts, do deals, have cosy lunches with companies and then write off billions in taxes....when they leave the civil service where do they end up? Far too often employed by the comanies they gave contracts too or did favours for in other ways.
These politicians and civil servants get paid fortunes (I don't mean johhny and Jane answering phones in Swansea Vale, I mean the top end CS) and when they leave they usually end up in very well paid jobs. Look at Osborne, left government and the last I heard he had 6 jobs, he seems to need the "8 days a week" the Beatles sang about except his 8 days is about love of money, not a woman.

Ths country needs a political revolution to rid us of all these grabbing, self serving and largely useless politicians and the civil service needs a good clear out and strong rules put in place to prevent any corruption.

Where do you get this information on the civil service from ?

Beware of the Risen People

The minute the Judge, YES THE JUDGE, said that Hancock acted unlawfully, he should have stepped down and awaited sentencing.
How many more of these righties are getting away with it? Loads acting unlawfully.
You righties just watch from afar. Some even cheer.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

The latest is that Gavin Williamson has given one of his mate's a job in Education, 60k a year for a 2 days week, another one with no experience whatsoever in that field. Unbelievable

What enjoying the fact the government is giving out jobs to their mates that they're not qualified to do and paying them out of the public purse, I wouldn't employ a mate to do a job that they're not qualified or experienced to do.

Any government should put themselves above scrutiny, this government isn't doing so and its disregarding public opinion through pure arrogance by not even being able to justify these decision's, Jobs for the boys a closed shop.

I am so utterly hacked off with people constantly seeking to find any reason at all to hammer the Tories.
It matters not what they do,it is what they are as you describe yourself, vile .It negates any opinions you have as they are from one perspective.
I have no alligiances at all.

I hated the soft approach Johnno devised yet our soft, selfish, weak clowns for a country would have screamed blue murder had Boris been brutal. As he should have.

Better to hammer him for allowing us Christmas where he said our common sense could be relied on to be sensible and not go overboard. Common sense? You ever opened your eye and ears to ee the d1ckwards walking around. Christmas killed thouands and all for what/to get ratarsed and spread this curse.

It's a better avenue for your class war than simply picking out individual tories for condemnation.

As for Labour- I really haven't the time to paste the glorious sceptical, disingenuous crap they come up with suffice to ay Annalisie Dodds could be the next chancellor.

I have no allegiances either and I've neither got any interest or time for any classes war or hatred, that you always talk about on a daily basis.
I've never said that any other party haven't done the same, the vast majority of politicians are the same in it for themselves, it seems that once they're in a position of power or become an MP in some instances, its like a licence to do what they like.

Mp's were caught a having a drink in the Senedd and a Labour MP that was suspended, is now back in the fold, you had that Scottish MP who was travelling from London to Scotland whilst suffering from Covid she's still in a job, the whole institution of politics needs a massive shake up and all these career politicians put back out into the real world.

Some people will never be told what to do, they'll do what they want to do, police have stopped people who have travelled from hundreds of miles just to take a walk up Snowdonia and Pen y fan, car parks have been full to capacity, much like beaches were last year, warm weather cold snowy weather has made no difference, its the attraction that's drawn them, you can fine them or do what you want it doesn't stop them.
