He also said it was absolutely the right thing to do, carry on buying PPE and not stop to fill out paperwork.

Maybe if the government hadn't "de-prepared" for the pandemic, if it hadn't breached it's own rules

https://www.theguardian.com/co

If it hadn't gotten PPE purchase and supply so badly wrong, if these things hadn't happened I could give Hancock some benefit of some doubt.

Truthfully, the government has made a real mess of things and the more I find out the more I start to think they are criminally negligent.

As it suggests in those stories, the Westminster government didn't just misjudge things, they actually ignored or did the opposite of advice they received.
Bojo and Hancock got things baly wrong and because Bojo has sacked anyone who dared challenge him, or even just disagree with him, he is now surrounded by cowardly yes men and yes women who blindly do as he says because their personal job security is more important than doing the right thing.
This latest thing, not releasing the contract data, Hancock can say what he likes, I doubt many will believe him.

What is just as bad in my eyes, Keir Starmer has said he won't be asking Hancock to resign, he says he doesn't believe it's what the public really wants. That's unbelievable really. Unless of course he wants the useless clown to stay in post with the rest of the Cirque de Stupide because it increases his chances at the next GE.
Otherwise should he be calling for his resignation, or should he be demanding his sacking?

Starmer is like a wet lettuce, Boris feels more pressures when he lifts himself to get out of his favourite chair.
I say it again, I wouldn't trust any of them, most are rich enough to be able to live in different worlds to the rest of us, they have little or no idea on our the rest of us live, most of us on here at least have very little in common with any of them.

Oh do fck off! Corbyn was totally unelectable.

He put the Labour party back so far in history it was savage.

He lost to Boris FFS...the most inept leader in our history and "Saint" Jeremy was rinsed by him.

He should have fallen on his sword for the sake of the party, surely he could see that he was unelectable for whatever reason.

I'm far more concerned about the 20 years of lack of transparency concerning Welsh government spending, particularly unknown financial inducements given to companies willing to plant themselves near the City of Cardiff.
I know they occasionally throw a few scraps to the less fashionable parts of Wales, but why don't we have the right to know who's getting what?
I spent many years working for a Labour controlled council, and although it was many years ago, I still vividly remember how devious and crooked they were.
All public money spending should be in the public domain.

What is this ideology of the left that's trashed so many countries? Universal healthcare free at the point of use? Properly funded state education? Key services and industries which belong to the British people rather than foreign Govts and companies? A return to a green manufacturing base?

There is certainly an appetite in the UK for all of this but, as has been said, Corbyn was not the leader to deliver it.

Not a coup you muppet Just a democratically elected government. If only your beloved EU had democracy and elected all it's commissioners instead of an elite clique appointing them . Even the president of the EU commission has not stood in any election. Thankfully we sorted our own vaccines and did not wait for her to order them.
