Well in fairness on the specific point RB point we were discussing he rightfully said that Naughton could be a worthy quality alternative to Roberts at RB which i didn't disagree with at the time but i just said there may be reasons why that hasn't been done up until now. So i have no quarrel with him. | |

Lowe has been exhaused 100%, no doubt about it, Ayew the same, horses mouth.
I was expecting a better performance after the international break, said after the Cardiff game the players were in desperate need of the break. Birmingham we just played defensive as per usual and got done, Preston I was definitely expecting better, grew into new formation Saturday though, Roberts got his much needed rest, was a good day all round, expecting more of the same tomorrow.

Of course they don’t. We are more than capable of winning without them. I wasn’t insisting it was a contractual obligation for them to.
However if our goal is to play our best players in the 3-5-2 formation that we used when the thread was created... then we do have to. We have been through the reasons for that already and you claimed to have got bored, but will happily copy and paste the reasoning again.
What we shouldn’t be doing however; is rotating half our team every week for players clearly not good enough or nowhere near ready. Thankfully against Millwall he decided to play the players he has been all season a few notable exceptions aside. Good to see. | |
