| Swansea's new bridge on 21:06 - Mar 12 by Boundy | It's lying forlornly on the much maligned pedestrian /cycle track just before the Cenotaph. A new one is planned to replace it with funds raised by the public and should have been installed last july but its all gone quiet on that particular topic . perhaps Covid has impacted on their plans. |
My fav part of Swansea was that. The Baths where I learned to swim with Glenda Philips Walks in the park with grandad Grandad in the Guildhall on council business and Joes afterwards and St Helens for rugby and cricket Happy days

There was talk of the rec being sold for housing but that died death. I have theory that the bridge was removed so's not to spoil the view of the new house/flats which were build on the site of the old baths , strange that they removed the bridge but kept the abutments which imo would be more deadly should sometime fall onto some poor innocent sitting under them on the beach. Brynmill Park is my favourite ,its a pity the scourge of the students have spoiled a lovely part of the town.

| Swansea's new bridge on 20:08 - Mar 12 by onehunglow | Irish people. What was the nationality of McGuiness and his murderers . As for the girls, any young girl subjected to Nuns was abused and made to feel God would punish her. Lives were ruined ,girls raped, assaulted as were boys. Irish have massive guilt and rightly so. British are angels in comparison. It s why Irish girls had abortions here when they were banned outright in ROI. And not that long ago. |
Excuse me! Are you on medication or something! I'm not getting into a discussion about terrorism and sexual abuse with some faceless nomark on an Internet forum. You obviously harbour some sort of sadistic hatred of Irish people for some reason. I really pity human beings like you.

Indeed I will. I must say though, that some of your remarks, in a thread about Swansea's wonderful new bridge are quite bizarre. Some would say a little bit over the top, others may say openly racist towards the Irish community, of which my wife belongs. Good evening sir.

I think his long standing girlfriend/boyfriend/both ran off with handsome Irishman. Its the only thing i can think of....? Its either irrational hate, or plain old fear. Perhaps he took a slap or two in his younger days from a young Barry McGuigan lookalike ... 🤷â€â™‚ï¸

First of all ,it is Scally-singular,Scallies plural.Scallys if you're thick You do know Liverpool, the place you hate,is full of Irish families ,don't you. I'd rather Welsh labour anyway. We had a Welsh electrician once-robbing barstad but he did a good job. Anyway, what's all this I read in the EP of burglaries, assaults, car thefts and drug crimes in Swansea. My ma and da ,la, were subjected to several crimes in Swansea by Swansea people so don't you dare suggest all is peace and light in harmony down there. It affected my mum badly having their car burst out as she was singing in Church and came out to see car gone ,then told burnt out on Kilvey Hill. That was less than 6 month after a confrontation burglary-by Swansea boys. Got that>

"And wtf are you anyway." Not sure what you mean to be honest. New to the forum, not looking to pick any arguments, but let me tell you now, I won't back down when section's of the human race are being labelled terrorist, child molesters and murders simply because of their nationality. You need to remember that everything anyone posts up on social media is accountable to scrutiny if deemed to be overstepping the mark. Please think on.

| Swansea's new bridge on 21:03 - Mar 11 by Kilkennyjack | It was part of Britain at the time dumbo. Westminster left their own people starve to death. Its not about anyone else. Westminster lost Ireland in that moment. Genocide because they chose not to act. |
Westminster left other Uk citizens to die also, they treated the poor back then really badly. There was no welfare state, no NHS. If you got ill you relied on local people and methods and medicines passed down through generations. There were workhouses and transportation. You blame the English, I still blame the rich and powerful, even in Ireland Irish landowners treated the poor appallingly. Now this new bridge, still don't like it. Maybe when the whole area is finished it'll look better.

It 's getting pitiful now Killy Why don't you find a little farm in Laoise or Roscommon and reflect with your Irish chums on how life has treated a deeply troubled country.

So let's copy and paste stories of sexual abuse then shall we? I'm sure the CofE have a fair few skeletons in the closest I could google up if I had the inclination. Best not to though yes. This person has "previous" for his outspoken views, each to their own. But, you overstep the line, expect to be called out, and I will.
