Giving all Health care workers a one off bonus of 735 before tax so around 500 after

That's more than they are getting in England

Not sheep just believe in supporting the careful policies. Lowest rate of infections and deaths despite having the highest numbers in the most at risk categories. You talk about being careful but then suggest voting for a party that wants to do the exceed opposite. Opening our airports in May and the nightclubs in June and getting us out of all restrictions. You know the one that had a party leader who broke the rules drinking when other people couldnt. Well if that is the track record you want you are welcome to it. I actually support the left of centre policies you claim to believe in then suggest people should vote for the opposite.

I was clearly taking the p155 but there you go, none so blind.

Tell me, have you ever not voted Labour? Besides which, we won't always be in pandemic mode and then we need a Welsh government that works for all of Wales, not just the SE corner.

Welsh Labours record is a disaster for most of Wales. Wait til you need a hip replacement. When you are next stuck in traffic at Brynglas remember who wouldn't do anything to improve things. Remember which party leader it was who used OUR money to rent a plane to fly to Scotland VIA THE EURO 2016 football tournament. Remember which government is making the education changes suggested by a man who oversaw a disastrous change in Scotland and when your grandkids education is rubbish, blame Welsh Labour. When there are no decent jobs anywhere outside Cardiff, when we all have to travel hours further for our healthcare, when they throw more millions at the airport remember that you voted for the staus quo.
Lecture me all you want but I'm not the one voting for stagnation and failure, I want change.

PS, this month is the 5th anniversary of when I was told I needed a new hip, last week my doctor put me on statins, my health gradually getting worse as I cannot get the exercise I need.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Yes I have voted Plaid. Their policies are left of centre rather than the right wing doctrine of the Tory Party. I would never vote for them as their policies are the reverse of my beliefs which are left of centre which you claim yours are.

Oh god, monotony has set in. I WAS TAKING THE MICK.

Did you miss the point where I said I was voting Plaid? You didn't come along then to accuse me of neing a lefty?

How many times does it need explaining, I am a floating voter, I'm not Labour nor Tory and even being slightly left of centre if I feel a vote for the tories is the best choice then I will vote Tory.
It's as simple as that, whatever I think is the best choice is what I will vote.

You do understand what a floating voter is, someone undecided or or who doesn't support any particular party. Do you get that?

Your loyalty to Labour is touching even if old fashioned. We need new politics, we need change.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

You can be and vote what you want. I just believe in things like Free Prescriptions which Labour introduced and if Andrew RT Davies gets his way he will remove. If you wish to vote for him do so but nobody with centre left leanings would vote for a very right wing party.

If I thought the Welsh tories would do a better job than Labour I would vote for them.

It's not party loyalties, it's the best choice that matters.

Staying loyal to a party regardless of performance makes no sense.

It isnt about party loyalty. It is about supporting a party that will act as you believe. There is absolutely no way I would vote Tory because their policies are totally different to my belief.

Strange that the one focus on why labour is the party for Wales has been based on its performance during this pandemic, it seems that its previous performances in health education , social justice is ignored , here's to another 20 years of incompetence voted for it must be said by those who are happy to ignore the above.

In the same way I would find it difficult to vote Labour as I do not know what the feck they represent.
They have class warriors which I abhor but the rest are as self serving as many Conservatives although they are one very good Tory MP around .

People is south Wales CANNOT vote Conservative for fear of hate and contempt from their neighbours, friends and family.

It is 2021 and we still have this pitiful loyalty to a red flag of convenience.

You miss the point completely. People in South Wales vote the way they do because of the way the Tory party has treated them. Electrification to Swansea didnt go ahead because the Tory UK Government withdrew the funds they promised for it. Just one example. Go back to the problems with the miners and steelworkers under Thatcher another.

Yes but I get free prescriptions which I & many others could & would pay for if the incompetent fools in Cardiff used the money wisely.

So why don't the WG fund electrification to Swansea? They could scrap giving freebies out in prescriptions, they could stop wasting money on Rhoose Airport for an example to aid the project...do you not care that this Labour WG do not and have not done anything to benefit us further west of Bridgend? Surely it's time for a change because this lot in 20+ years have failed us!

Where is all the money that was going to be saved from leaving the UK. They said Wales wouldnt lose out. Where is it. What about the plan to re route the rail to quicken up the journey from West Wales to Cardiff bypassing Neath and Swansea. Great for the town and city centres and planned by a guy who was brought up in what is now the City and County of Swansea.

Why are you continuing to ignore the fact that this is about the devolved labour government .The way the miners were treated was disgraceful and shameful but the end was inevitable , do you honestly believe that in the current environmental crisis we're facing that anyone of those pits would still be operating ?.What economic benefit would be to someone catching train to cardiff by an electric train , all that money spent for what to shave 1 few minutes off a journey. If Drakeford and co want to waste money on vanity projects such as an airport which benefits very few then why not spent it on tidal wind or solar power , he's very much a green supporter .Thatcher's legacy has diminished but this current lot in cardiff are holding back this country now. You are entrenched in your political opinion because you do refer back to thatcher a government which was in power 40 years ago

I voted for Tony Blair in the belief he'd act as he said he would, as I believed he would. Look what happened there, an illegal war, pension funds robbed blind and country left with such a debt AND a deficit that over decade later it was still getting worse because cutting the deficit was proving hard.
Like many people in Wales I voted to leave the EU but what was our Welsh government saying? They'd have us back in the EU tomorrow if they could regardless of what the people wanted.
I want better healthcare and better infrastructure across the whole of Wales and how are Welsh Labour doing with that?
I want to know the honest results of the consultation into giving the vote under 18's, how did Welsh labour do with that? Did anyone see the results?
I wanted the public consultation on where the Welsh Assembly building went to be honoured yet Labours Ron Davies cheerfully admitted it was always going to be in Cardiff and they'd wasted tens of thousands on a pointless exercise.
Keep on voting for failure if you will but pretending Labour are doing just as you want is the biggest lie you can tell yourself. Either that or you are very selfish.
I want things to improve and the status quo just doesn't cut it.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

To me the ultimate stupidity is voting today basedon what happened 40 years ago. Bojo is a clown but he's not Thatcher.
In the same way Starmer is not Blair.

We don't hate the Germans or Japanese today because of what they did in the war. it's completely nonsensical to vote on such prejudices.
Saying things like that suggests that Labour voters would still vote labour no matter what was happening because of what Tories did decades back?
How bad has Wales got to get before the sheep come to their senses? The days when Labour truly represented the working class are long gone. Labour MP's are part of the system these days, they cheat their expenses, flip houses, take well paid jobs besides being MP's...they do all sorts of things that a true labour person would find distasteful at least and I'm sure many of us would consider criminal. They are just like the Tories no matter what rhetoric they spout.
The big difference to me personally is, in Tory run England I would have had my hip replacement done 4 years ago, before the pandemic, before both my knees and my other hip went bad too, before my health degraded and I ended up on other meds and then I would still be working...probably because the pandemic may have changed that.

Edit, Rail electrification was stopped because the costs outweighed the benefits, or would you rather waste money? Before answering remember Drakeford cancelled the M4 relief.

And AGAIN, they are not my "Tory friends" because I do not have a party loyalty. That's one thing you cannot get through your head. I vote for who I consider to be the best choice whoever that is.
At the last GE I got pelters from Warwicjhunt for saying none of them were worth voting for so I planned to spoil my ballot.
So wrapped up are you in Labour dogma I doubt you'll ever understand.

The truth here is if I'm not Labour then I must be tory and so must be despised.

The only problem with the rail electrification decision is that they stopped it at Cardiff instead of Newport, or even Bristol Parkway.

The expense of electrifying the South Wales mainline as it is far outstrips the benefits of doing it. The line is too twisty and stops at too many places to be worth the hassle. Hundreds of millions spent to knock 5-10 minutes off a journey time. As big a waste of time as HS2, yet plenty of people complaining about them doing what should have been done with that monstrosity as well.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
