The usual "They've taken millions!" guff from people who still to this day haven't managed to identify any spare millions to take.
The club is being run within its financial capability. As all clubs should be. That means we can't/mustn't run out and spend millions we don't have, on players we can't afford. It's a simple concept, but one lots of people somehow still struggle with, despite us having been to the brink twice already. |

The people in charge are open and friendly and not devious at all in my opinion. The Trust did not sell because firstly they did not want to sell and said so and secondly they made no attempt to sell. They had no mandate in any case as they were too lazy to prepare for a bid after the 2015 talks.
They were not prepared for an offer and generally move very very slowly. The club cannot move at that speed. The legal business is a case in point. It has taken much longer than Brexit which was also in 2016.
They are a JCB on a two lane trunk road. They are an irritating obstacle. The get on you must go around them. That is just the way they are step up. Hopefully the new fellow is using new technology and getting voting spontaenous and digitial with passwords etc.
Mr Birch was appointed by the US people and has a spotless clean reputation so much so he has been given top quality posts in Tottenham and the English FA. Mr Birch looked fans eye to eye and gave them the facts. Swansea s income has fallen off a clif and it has been managed well. Wigan almost went bust. |  |

The fact that you do not Trust them an inch is pretty irrelevant. You have no reason to distrust them given that you have been assured the accounts are clean and the chairmen working for them are respected figures in the football game. You have pre judged them. You are possibly prejudiced against them.
If you are wondering how can they make money out of the club this is easy and i can explain it to you. They have given the club a reported £10m convertible loan note CLN. It is stated to help the club through the pandememic. I am grateful to them for that. The Welsh owners came up with nothing. Theoretically the club could have gome bankrupt without it seeing the value of the Welsh shareholders fallto zero.
Silverstein / Levien group will make 5% pa from this loan. It is probably less than a bank loan as football clubs are risky assets. Michael Dell is lending money to the Burnley owners at a reported 9%.
5% in the current banking environemt is a decent return to the hard pressed 28 who bought shares in Swansea and a little reward for their loyalty. The Trust were getting only 0.15% with Santander. The owners could reject the 5% and simply by shares at a discount diluting shareholders that do not contribute.
If the 28 take the cash for their estimated £160,000 cash injection each they will get a £8000 pa annual payment . Not much but better than nothing. This works out at about 1% return on their whole investmet which is better than you get in the bank these days. You will not find 5% anywhere on the highstreet for a bond.
