The old leather footballs and the ones used today are the same weight. Granted they became much heavier when wet, but the flight of balls used now are much faster and can do just as much damage long term. |  | | |

I’ve just called him, he’s gone for a cold one with a few mates, I can’t see this going on for much longer, the logistics behind all this just isn’t worth it. I’m amazed he has been so calm, but then it’s the internet so what’s the point in getting confrontational with everyone. ( says me with my past ) His main point is that a few people are continuing to cause disruption even when they know why he does this.

It was the game we got tonked 5-0. We were three down and me and a couple of mates from Clase were down the front of the bank after getting coffee when the Met Police decided to arrest a few. Apparently there at been some issue at the services which was nothing to do with us. They ejected a few after me as well. Totally confusing. Ended up in the Fulham end.
That was also the game our coach and a few others got bricked by Chelsea Fans and the Park lads evacuated their coach and chased them into the back streets |  |

I thought I was going to get a right mugging by the Met in the "custody thingy" an it was lined with officers and I had to walk down to the end to give all my details. That office was a pretty tidy Scots lady and I swear she said sorry before they took me out of the ground.
