Do we need to fill his slot by the end of transfer window?

Did he retire before he signed his final contract ?,

Doubt it. He wouldn’t have been viewed as anything more than a squad player this season. The Routledge of a few years ago would have been brilliant in the role Cullen played Saturday, but he only had an hour in him towards the end of last season. Purely on age I don’t think he’d have been in Martins plans.

As far as I’m aware he didn’t sign the extension offered in the summer, which is why he didn’t have a squad number?

But in the video announcing the end of his Swansea playing days, he added: "It's not the end. I will be around in some capacity. But for now, it's more of a see you later."
Hopefully.
Thanks for great service.

I’m gutted TBH. Even if he’d only an hour in him he’s the perfect player to put on behind Piroe . A sad day and I truly hope he does come back in some capacity. Once just a journeyman in some people’s eyes but found his home here and turned into a true JB .

Happy retirement Routs

He hasn't actually said anywhere that he's retiring mind. Just that his days as a Swansea player are over.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
