| Katie Price 16:33 - Sep 28 with 5684 views | britferry | What a thick arrogant bint, she should go to jail for this Katie Price is 'hospitalised and arrested after alleged 'drink and drug drive crash' while serving six-month driving ban - and now faces jail after SIX previous motoring offences - Ex-glamour model was said to be 'in a bad way' when police arrived at crash before being taken to hospital - Mother-of-five is currently without a driving licence after being disqualified for two years in October 2019 - Incident comes hours after she told Good Morning Britain of pain at not being able to drive to visit Harvey I bet she'll play the "Harvey card" in court and get away without serving any time | |

| Katie Price on 21:04 - Sep 29 by Catullus | What is better for public safety....Price never getting in a car and driving ever again! What are the odds of that though? She'll do this again. |
Absolutely agree, and she’ll receive a lengthy ban, but those odds will be increased if she is given treatment re her alcoholism. I hate drink drivers I’ve prosecuted case involving people dying through their actions

I really cant understand how she is in the media daily. Talentless. Attention seeking. Do anything to get the headlines. Anything. The media feed her illness for attention. They have alot to answer for. Daily Mail fans the flames of her downfall. She had a good thing with Peter Andre, all the money and support in the world for the best therapists money could buy. She has had more chances than alot in her situation. Yet I feel slightly sorry for her, but she has had more chances than most in similar situations. She is also trying to get anyone who mixes with her into serious trouble, unless they are all lying, and she is telling the truth. Either way. Trouble . Keep away. Attention seeking.

| Katie Price on 19:17 - Sep 29 by Sirjohnalot | She will pay. A deferred sentence is not unusal. if the mitigation is that this is what she needs to get help then sentence is deferred for it to happen. It clearly crosses the custody threshold. In order to get a suspended sentence, which is what her Solicitor will put to the court, it has to be shown that she has a realistic prospect of rehabilitation. Adjourning to this date will aim to show to the court that she can take the help she needs. A suspended sentence will come with unpaid work and probably a tag. Any breach will mean the sentence is likely activated. As far as celebrities getting it easier, that's a myth, if anything, they'll get harsher sentences as the Court will know the press will be watching them like a hawk. If her getting help in the Priory works and it stops her drinking/taking drugs, isn't that better, more protective for society ? That will be the argument to the court I am not commenting on the moral side of this and I have said what I would likely do, but, you are obliged to act 'without fear of favour' in your client's interests, as I would do for anyone of you irrespective of the offence (I've even repp'd a Cardiff fan..the look on his face when I told him where I was from was priceless : ) ) [Post edited 29 Sep 2021 19:20]

Surely her mitigating circumstances are irrelevant? To flout the law as many times, with no regard, is surely taking the pee? The only reason I say that is, looking at Wales Online, people in court, they all seem to be into drugs or drink, what turned them to that? I guess the same thing as Katie Price, but they end up getting custodial sentences. And by no means take that, as me knocking Katie Price, anyone who jumps in a car whilst binging drink and drugs, obviously has problems, but I don't see the same leeway granted to other criminals who suffer from the same addictions.

Unfortunately if she gets let off, which I am sure she will. It gives the green light to many, especially her fan base, do what you like, drink, take drugs, drive, lives will be lost. Hey ho. Had fun. Play the victim. Mental health. Abused when young. Still need to take responsibility otherwise society is broke more than it already is.

Mitigating circumstances are that which will see a skilled barrister/solicitor ensure she gets a sentence that is as light as possible. Fact is this female had been a potential killer 6 times.Too me,that's rather a lot. SIX occasion where she has DECIDED to drink and drug drive. People need to see first hand the resilts of their handiwork. Barristers and Solicitors do not but use whatever they can to defend their client as best they can and best means ,if guilty, getting the lightest punishment. Price will do this again, sometime.

Rehab is often an ongoing thing. Its not a cure.

It is indeed.Rehab is a badge they can wear when they next appear on Loose Women, shed a few crocodile tears and have fellow luvvies cuddle them up. Then another book on "my troubles" not forgetting to throw in her disable son
