There is a new NZ trade deal and it states it is appropriation instead of assimilation .
It has been agreed between Boris and Ardern as part of the NZ -UK Trade deal to protect the Haka.

There is so much culture used by others that is completely off limits to mention.
I saw a video of an African American shouting at a white girl getting her hair braided, saying she was disrespecting and stealing her culture.... while she had chemically straightened hair to resemble a Causasian/Asian look.
Another I saw an African American woman shout at the Asian owners of a pop up food vendors, shouting at the customers in the line saying they should not be buying ''black products'' from Asians.
Cant remember what it was, think it was acai breakfast bowls. Which I think are South American anyway and nothing to do with African American culture, which is bizarre. [Post edited 22 Oct 2021 15:09]
