AFD, like you, spreads misinformation.

A lot of what he has been posting is absolute nonsense and is dangerous.

You are the only fake.

No need for the link, i've got no interest in you whatsoever.
Far too many numpties frequent these sites to go splashing your details about.
As for the misinformation you claim, the information comes from far more qualified people than you. So when it's a case So do we believe qualified people not on the payroll with 30 years behind them or someone calling themselves a professor on a football forum.

No brainer really

Everything you spout is clearly coming from above by those with a much bigger vested interest in what is going on.

As a Labour Party member, my dislike of Alex Johnson and the rest of his government is considerable.

My decisions are based on science and evidence, not from halfwits or through some of the dark forces that underpin the anti-vaccination movement.

I know a number of people who worked on the Astra Zeneca vaccine. You know what, they are normal decent people. They worked incredibly hard to produce a vaccine quickly that has proved highly effective and as far as vaccines go very safe. I'm sure the people who did the same and Pfizer, Moderna and Janssen all worked with the same motives. Pharmaceutical companies are not perfect, but show me companies who are entirely ethical where profit is not important. But they are more tightly regulated than most. Interestingly you lot source much material from the US. Of course there pharmaceutical products can be advertised, so practice is much sharper and more corrupt than in the UK, where anything needs NICE approval. Make no mistake these vaccines are saving lives, taking people away from long term illness and are the ONLY way we will return to near 'normality'. I think you will find the scientific consensus (and not the tiny minority who disagree) is based on fact, evidence and experience.

Then twits (sic) like you come here shouting about 'clot shots' and Gates. Laughable really that nothings like you shout conspiracy, whilst probably sat in their mum's back bedroom in crusty underpants. Or are you at the madrassa again?

Problem solved.

You say you don't pay attention to my posts but can quote plenty of things from posts that go back months. Seriously i wouldn't remember what you posted 2 minutes ago.

Just because you believe your own opinion doesn't make you right.
If i'm honest I think people like you are way too far gone and watch far too much fake news on the telebox.

I remember what you write because, quite frankly, it's insane. Obviously a clear wind up, at least I hope it is for your own mental health.

Can't help yourself can you, professors wouldn't have to resort to mother jokes or any other infantile ramblings to get their point across.
I also don't care how many people you know who worked on the clot shot, it's killing and injuring people in huge numbers, absolutely nothing to be proud about
if you honestly believe Pharmaceutical companies are regulated then you are a bigger brainwashed nutter than we give you credit for so go ahead and keep pushing your propaganda and let those with an ounce of common sense pick the bones out of it.

And there's this study released today.

https://www.imperial.ac.uk/new

A single dose reduces infection, that's infection and not just symptomatic infection, by 56% in 12 - 17 year olds. That means a reduction in transmission too.

Imagine the mess we'd be in without these vaccines!

More data from ONS shows the 10s and unders have the highest infection rates per 100,000 overtaking the 11 to 18 year olds. Shows that the unvaccinated are seriously at risk of catching the virus. How soon before the UK starts to vaccinate under 11s?

Right.

You have spent the last 18 months denigrating efforts to control COVID

You have spread misinformation. Shown partial 'cherry picked' data and interpretations that are plain wrong or show an absence of understanding

You have re-posted claims (my favourite was the Kary Mullis one) that have been shown to be untrue.

You have plugged treatments like HCQ that not only are ineffective but downright dangerous.

You have re-posted data on vaccine adverse events which has subsequently shown to have been erroneous and greatly overstate the effects.

You spent weeks spreading there idea that ADE will occur. It has not, mainly because the vaccines were carefully developed to avoid this.

You have promoted quacks and the discredited.

This all truthful is it?

I may be wrong, what I am not is a liar. You have a record of being very wrong and promoting untruths.

You really should be ashamed.

"You have spent the last 18 months denigrating efforts to control COVID"
Wrong again.
a. denigrate is the wrong word to use, yes I critisized the government along with just about everybody else on here for the first 12 months.
I did not make any denigrating remarks about the Vaccine effort, only on the lack of an alternative especially while there wasn't a vaccine and afterwards for those vaccinated that were still dying. I critisized the lack of transparency about the lack of testing and short and long term side effects of the vaccine and still do.
b. Can you point to the countries that are controlling the pandemic, as in spread of cases with the vaccines please?
Perhaps you would like to start with the countries with the highest percentage of vaccinated populations.

"You have plugged treatments like HCQ that not only are ineffective but downright dangerous. "
Wrong again because HCQ is not dangerous at the correct dosage, millions of people have been taking it for the last 30 odd years for a variety of illnesses, drugs do not suddenly become dangerous overnight.

"You have re-posted data on vaccine adverse events which has subsequently shown to have been erroneous and greatly overstate the effects."
Wrong again, all 3 organisations report on that data as it is, not just me.
What you are not aware of is that the Pfizer Trial study at 6 months published their data on Adverse Events.
That data shows that they had Adverse Events at the rate of 239,031/Million Vaccinated, which is pretty much in line with what is being reported in VAERs.
They also published the All Cause Mortality results as well and guess what was listed :- Cardiac & Heart Problems and Sepsis. Overall there were only 3 COVID related deaths, 2 in the unvaccinated group and one COVID Pneumonia in the vaccinated group, which I find rather unlikely in both cases.

You are probably also not aware of the small study of vaccinated people conducted by the William Beaumont Hospitals.
Unfortunately it does not make impressive reading.
Percentage with Serious illness Unvaxxed = 6.7%, 1 Vax = 10.3% 2 vax = 12.4%
Percentage needing ICU Unvaxxed = 5.7%, 1 Vax = 9.1% 2 vax = 10.9%
Percentage who died in hospital Unvaxxed = 3.5%, 1 Vax = 6.1% 2 vax = 6.2%
Percentage all cause mortality Unvaxxed = 7.2%, 1 Vax = 9.5% 2 vax = 8.4%
If that was HCQ or Ivermectin you would be slating the product.

"You spent weeks spreading there idea that ADE will occur."
I repeated what Doctors, Virologists & Scientists suggested could happen.
You have no way of knowing if it has or hasn't, or will or will not in the future and neither does anyone else.

The rest is just your opinion, which you are allowed.

ps, I wonder why the US FDA want the courts to grant them 55 years to release the Pfizer trial safety data which is on FOI requests?

To be honest I don’t find the infection rates in the under 18 population surprising and schools are fuelling the spread throughout the community. I think the infection rates provide us with a strong evidence to justify pushing teachers and others schools based staff up towards to the top of the list of people who should be vaccinated.

Grandparents need to be careful too, lots have caring responsibilities for youngsters as parents are frequently required to work and the risk of infection could be significant.

Then you know that between Rounds 14 & 15 the infection rates of practically all the groups have dooubled.
You will also have picked up on their confusing statement when they said "we assessed the effects of a third vaccine dose on swab-positivity and estimated vaccine effectiveness against infection among children ages 12 to 17 years"
I think there should have been a comma in there somewhere.

I imagine you were as surprised as me at how many of the younger age groups had been given the Booster jab when this round was running in figure 1D.

You must also be be very puzzled by figure 2B where they show the Daily Mortality Rate to be running almost as high as it was back in the January. Peak.

A few excerpts from that link,

"But what we can see very clearly is that since the rollout of COVID-19 vaccination, death rates have remained low relative to infection prevalence, demonstrating their effectiveness at preventing infections from causing people to become seriously ill and die.

The rate of breakthrough infections in people who have had two vaccine doses has doubled since July, possibly in part due to waning of immunity.
Death rates have remained lower than might have been predicted on the basis of infection prevalences since widespread vaccination.

The study also looked at the effectiveness of booster doses at preventing infection, finding that the risk of infection was around three times lower in those who had received a third dose, compared to those who had received two. For those who were aged 50 and above, having a third dose reduced the infection risk by around half compared to two doses.

Seems quite clear. I have my appointment for the booster jab, next Wednesday. My chances of avoiding infection will increase significantly and I can continue to get on with my life. Those unvaccinated who get seriously ill, they can't get on with very much, even breathing is a big effort for many of them.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Once again all the scientific evidence shows vaccinations reduce your chances of catching it, spreading it, being hospitalised and dying

Still the 8% of unvaccinated adults think they are safer.

I'm fine with the grammar.

Perhaps you can explain the relevance of any of that to the point I made?

You:-

"I imagine you were as surprised as me at how many of the younger age groups had been given the Booster jab when this round was running in figure 1D."

The Paper:-

Similar trends of rising prevalence between round 14 and round 15 followed by a fall within round 15 were observed for children aged 17 years and under and adults aged 18 to 54 years but a fall was not observed at ages 55 years and over (Figure 1-D).

You:-

You must also be be very puzzled by figure 2B where they show the Daily Mortality Rate to be running almost as high as it was back in the January. Peak.

The Paper:-

In contrast, we found that the (N=11,740) unvaccinated and the (N=3,234) vaccinated
children aged 12 to 17 years were broadly comparable (Figure 2-B).

Dr W, thanks for posting this, the graphic with the vaccination rates is really interesting and I’ve tried to produce it in full below.

One thing that struck me, the daily information update kindly provided by Felixstowe Jack on the Oxford Vaccine thread (which I assume comes from PHE HMG) States 80.1% of the UK population is fully vaccinated against 67.48% in the graphic. Does anyone know the reason for the variance? Is it because children under 12 who’ve not featured in the vaccination program are included in Schaffer’s graphic?

I think not including the under 12's is the problem.

It's something thet anti-vaxxers conviniently forget when looking at case rates in areas of high adult vaccination.
