Never threatened anyone on any forum but have had one poster send a DM of a threatening behaviour... I just ignored him and learned he was doing it to numerous posters.
I would question myself if I was having constent threats, wouldn't be a good sign and would create a siren to myself as how I was acting to create a situation where I was making people so annoyed.
Threats on a forum are something that shouldn't be tolerated but it's certainly not a one way street or as black/white as it always comes across. |  |

Oh I could imagine.
Best bit of advice when threats are thrown is to ignore/walk away, once you challenge it then you are reacting to it and are no better than them.
That's why older people don't get into scraps as much as teens/early twenties because you just get wiser and leave the idiots spout on.....Silence is a powerful weapon. | |

Certainly depends on the situation, can't compare a chopsy bugger on a forum or down Wind St to what has let's say happened at Yorkshire cricket club.
There are certainly ways about doing things and sometime standing up for themselves straight off is worse than playing the silent long game.... Ultimately with silence there is a lot of time for THEM to talk and more chance to say the wrong thing.

Although considering that could never be the reason behind your threats, thinking what could be causing yours may well help you.
Incredible to think that you think Rashford and co should take a look at their own behaviour though because they received so many threats and so much abuse.

Wow quite some effort there Itchy, I thought I advised you to not let it get to you?
Of course racism exists, as does sexism, as do all the “isms”. The level of the problem however varies depending on your agenda.
Hence why this recent movement has born the trend to call people racists that are not, or have displayed nothing like the views or behaviour that can be described as such. People that partake in that are absolutely part of the problem.
