Russell Martin’s developmental football philosophy 21st Nov 2021 17:30
Russell Martin comes from a very different stock. At some point during his football journey, and it may well be when he started his management of the illness ulcerative colitis where he reached a crossroads. Now that may sound strange, how can an illness change a persons mindset in life, be that how you live, what you understand and how you learn ? 0

It’s hard to gauge 😂

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Astonished this thread hasn't been appreciated by the masses.

Or maybe I should recalibrate my lowly expectations of the herd.

It's highly commendable and inspiring that we now have a young, innovative manager who is willing to push the boundaries.

Something that the majority of posters here are unaccustomed to. A new way of Learning and Development. Progressive stuff for such a young manager at this level.

In fact, I cannot think of another young manager at this level who has the courage of his convictions, founded upon the Swansea Way. With Matt Grimes at the helm to drive forward with such intent, anything's possible.

What's funny is that Wingstandwood thinks that he can fool us.

It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. - Carl Sagan

Says the meek little nobody with no real opinion, ever.

The meek little outcast who conveniently forgets that some of us remember how you spewed your guts on here in disgust at your own failings. You said your wife struggled with you and your obsessions; you could only function here out-of-hours; you needed medical intervention, an affliction.

Sort yourself out, before slagging off others in the sly way in which you strive.

And sort yourself out before venturing back on these here forums, setting yourself up for yet another ungracious, and next time maybe, spectacular fall, you silly little jumped up person.

Your starting snippet, you say that because you know the article to be true! The follow up is just showing poor form from yourself personally.

Agree with your point on the young, innovative manager willing to push the boundaries.... Its been a while since we had that in Martinez and Rodgers so the excitement to similarities is something that I wouldn't and as any Swansea fan shouldn't knock but the excitement should be shining through.

There is a real vision with hope and the Swansea way back on course.... We are winning games, a young squad and young manager and we are looking after the ball with all players comfortable passing and receiving the ball.

Aside from us winning 5-0 every game and being top of the table... What is there not to enjoy!?
