More fake racism, finally gets put in front of a judge for this. It’s been a long time coming
This is the issue in America of pretending there is widespread systemic racism in order to further political policy.
People then want all the benefits of that victimhood knowing that it doesn’t come with the downside of actually facing any oppression.
Smollet, the actor from the show Empire, paid people to attack him and then told police it was a racist and homophobic hate crime where they put a noose around his neck while wearing MAGA hats.
None of his story made sense and after the media outrage on his behalf, they went incredibly silent as soon as it emerged pretty quickly that he made the whole thing up in order to get into the spotlight and further his career.
Being a victim these days is a commodity not a burden, hence why nobody actually wants to solve any perceived social justice issue, they want to just keep it in the spotlight.
It is the creation of this fake racism that is perpetuating the race myth and creating tensions that just shouldn’t be there. I hope he gets a custodial sentence.
Then NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace should be next for his fake hate crime where he stated someone put a noose in his car garage…. that turned out to be just a garage pulley that was always there.
The furore around that was embarrassing.
If there was that much actual racism in every day life, these things wouldn’t need to be staged and faked, there would be plenty of tangible examples. The fact one was a prominent actor and the other a prominent sportsman says it all with regards to opportunity, regardless of race.
The sooner this race obsession gets stored away the better this world will become and everyone can get along again.
The positive is that it seems people are seeing through the sensationalist nonsense now and not being afraid to say it as it is. That’s always the danger with pushing these narratives too far, the taboo leaves them and people just call it for what it is as opposed to complying out of fear.
If anyone wants to watch the bodycam footage of when police arrived at Smollets hotel, it’s available on YouTube, it’s hilariously bad acting from someone who is a professional one. He still had the fake noose around his neck that was “supposedly” put on him an hour previous.
You would get that thing off you immediately if that story was true, the cops knew immediately he was lying. You could tell by their line of questioning.

Haven’t really followed the Smollett case and just read the article, the guys behaviour is despicable and jail should be in the cards.
There is no doubt that Black people have been ( and will continue to be) subject to some terrible injustices and racism but what’s this guy has done to further his own agenda is disgraceful and will have a significant impact on those individuals who genuinely continue to suffer racist behaviour. The BLM activist who has denounced the criminal proceedings should also hang her head in shame for the same reason.

I disagree on the first part, I think it’s an incredibly privileged time to be black in the Western world. I don’t think as a race they are subject to injustices or racism.
Black people are thriving in a whole host of industries and sectors, they are dominating in music, sport, acting, medicine, finance, social, judicial system, teaching, legal, television… it goes on and on with regards to representation over and above the population split.
There may be isolated incidents of racism, but that goes for all races. Smollett here showed extreme contempt for white people for example, but nobody is really calling him a racist.
Rittenhouse was called a white supremacist and a racist because he was white, nobody has backtracked on that or labelled the media racist for doing so.
The list is endless of media and people in general attacking people for being white, didn’t Nick Cannon call white people a genetic defect or something? He wasn’t really called a racist, he went on to say something about Jewish people so they now label him an anti-Semite.
If white people are the focus of the racist abuse then nobody seems to care. It isn’t newsworthy.
This is a prime example of if racism was institutional as it’s often suggested, there would be no need for a fake hate crime on a wealthy black actor.
It’s almost parody.

Same if a white man ran over 62 black people in Wakasha after posting all over social media how much he was going to hurt anyone from that race. There was barely a reply to that thread and the media didn’t want to touch the fact he was a massive racist.

It was political too. He’s a friend of Kamala Harris and Don Lemon (CNN’s horrendous leftist and racist presenter). I think he once said something like white people have no culture.
Don Lemon actually tipped him off via text that the police didn’t believe his story. That could be another CNN sacking on the horizon but no doubt that will be swept under the carpet too.
Anyway a large part of his lie was that these white people beat him up wearing MAGA hats and uttered the infamous line “This is MAGA country!”. The fact they were two black Nigerians he paid $3500 to in order to stage it seemed completely irrelevant to him.
