| Joel Piroe being watched by a top Premier League club on 14:43 - Dec 19 by ReslovenSwan1 | This is classic Dr Parnassus. Self promoter in Chief. At least you have stopped using bookie phrases like 'passive punt' instead of proper business terms. Congratulation of building up a big cash fund for your retirement otr other purposes. You are promoting a fake idea. I was not trying to make out anything. I simply made true factual statement. Mindi has invested more money in Swansea city than the Trust have in 20 years. Mindi's money went to Jenkins and co for their shares. Some of the Trusts money went into Tony Petty's pocket. The US group have put in up to £13m fresh cash into the club according to the CEO. She was part of the group in the past and may have contributed again. If not her then people like her. It is not proven as this information is not published. It is a forum and I am allowed to speculate. The Trust worth £21m in 2016 have not contributed. The role of the SCST in the rise of Swansea city has been grossly exaggerated. They lived the good life in the Premier leagues and want out when investment is required in the Championship to get back there. Mindi's cash (or people like her's cash) is subsidising the Season ticket holders. The SCST are no where to be seen. Its a tough pill to take. God bless Mindi. |
So again, what is your point on Kalling exactly? She bought shares when the club was successful. The trust bought shares when the club wasn't. So the costs were different. The trust holds more shares than her. These are all facts. What's the point? *They've loaned the club cash. The trust weren't invited to contribute, nor even fully briefed on the CLN. That's correct isn't it Resloven? The proofs in the pudding Resloven. The trust was there from the very bottom&was a big part in ridding Petty. This can't be disputed. They also co-existed alongside the previous owners peacefully throughout the club's most successful period. Not sure what you're getting at but those are facts too. This changed when new owners came in, and we haven't attained the same level of success on the pitch and the trust haven't been happy with the communication / collaboration since the takeover. The proof is in the pudding as I say. *The club is subsiding the club's cash you mean. Currently the club has to repay it. And even if it's converted it's not some philanthropic gesture (like in fairness Huw etc did subsiding away tickets). They stand to gain increased shares in the club as a result. So while it's a nice gesture (and a smart one) let's not lose sight of the whole picture. *The trust were not invited to the CLN which you claim are funding tickets. Balance Resloven, balance is key.

The proof of the pudding is right now Chief. Mindi or at least Mindi's investment pool colleagues are investing in Swansea city. At the time they need money, they are there offering help and support. The SCST are absent. (They approve of other people spending money though). Their money is clearing debts, buying good players, like Piroe, and subsidising the season ticket holders. They have been joined by the other unpopular people of forums the local shareholders than sold. I repeat their cash is subsidising season ticket holders. Without this loan the season ticket holders would be obliged to pay around £140 on average more. This money if converted is not recoverable until the club is sold. The US people deserve credit. The 5% return barely covers UK inflation. The SCST approve of their action but have not made it clear they also wish to contribute (subject to terms). Their general position is to divest not invest so they will not be invited. As we stand Mindi and her colleagues are far more positive force in terms of the club than the SCST who are just hanging around until they can find a way of leaving the club for the maximum amount they can get to cover their enormous legal and finding fees. The reason they have given for leaving is the dilution effects of others investment. The SCST are a group that are against investment it appears. This is despite the fact that they by 2016 had made notional massive profits. All they had to do was sell. They want all of this money to share with their third party legal and funding partners. Investment in Swansea city is off their agenda. In fact investment of any sort is apparently mot under consideration. They recorded close to £1m getting a paltry 0.15% in Santander in their latest accounts. Their whole philosophy needs reform in my view. I recommend the use of an outside financial consultant to formulate a sensible strategy within their Rules. Money raising scheme are specifically mentioned. It is hard to see how a legal win for the SCST in court is good for the club short term or long term. In my opinion Mindi and her colleagues are more important to Swansea city than the SCST who seem to me to have very little to offer. They put in £200k in 2002 and that is about it.

"investment pool colleagues are investing in Swansea city.". Wow now, you'd cone on strides. But you've regressed back to this. They've bought shares, not invested. The trust are at the club every day. Mindy has probably never stepped foot in Swansea. And if she's loaned the club money, it's part of a consortium that was assembled behind the trust's back who weren't invited to join. You know this is as fact, but you decline to state this as part of the discussion. Why is that then? Who's money have the trust approved spending then exactly? Is this another of your inside scoops? Or another fabrication? You correctly state it's a loan at least - a loan the club will have to repay. I repeat. The subsidy is from a loan the club will have to repay. A year on the CLN still hasn't been converted. So let's stick with the facts (difficult for you I know) and the present. Have the trust stated they approve of the action then? Subject to terms that the trust have requested information about, but hasn't been provided, a year on. You now this though, but again neglect to say, why is that? In what way that we know of is Mindy a 'positive force'? She's bought shares, hidden her involvement, did one interview under duress years ago, never mentioned the club since, not invested anything, never loaned the club anything, never got involved in the day to day running of the club. She's a complete irrelevance to the club frankly. Or maybe worse, her reluctance to acknowledge or promote us even a tiny bit is not a good look to me. She seems embarrassed. If she even has any involvement at all. Her name isn't even down as an actual shareholder of the football club is it? She owned part of the holding company which apparently has had changes regarding its ownership since the purchase of the club. But all the details are lodged in Delaware. So we're not obliged to know for certain. Oh dear. "All they had to do was sell". Well that may have been possible if they'd been included and consulted from the beginning of the sale negotiations. Don't pretend they were, they weren't, there's a viable upcoming court case endorsed a QC that proves that. And the reason legal representation is required now is due to those compliance breaches by the Americans/sellouts back then. So blame them. They caused all this. Balance Resloven. That special word again. You are also aware of the contraints regarding supporters trust's aren't you Resloven but you decline to avail that in the discussion. One sided see, incapable of balance. But you can't deny that you aware of them. I'm sure the trust will engage a financial advisor once they are aware of the reward (if any). They don't need one now. They wouldn't want to be needlessly giving their money to 'third parties' now would they? Plus there's a mandate following a members vote. Another fact you're neglecting to state. Balance. Hahaha are you parody account? Come on come clean? Even you can't be this biased against the trust. Or did a member fvck your partner or something!? And Joel Piroe? Do you enjoy derailing these threads with your copy and paste monologues? You must be on comission......

If all goes to plan the loan will not need to be returned. Instead it will be converted into shares. I have advised the SCST to contact Mr Winter if they want to be involved and are serious. The returns are 33 time better than they are getting at the Santander according to the accounts I read. So you are blatantly wrong on that count. Silverstein seems to be trusted to make quite big corporate decisions for a simple lender do not you think? All being well the Season ticket subsidy will come from money invested by the lovely Mindi and her US friends. I like to think Mindi is still involved. The people in Wrexham fawn over their Hollywood A listers. Ryan and the other bloke did not make the mistake of forming a partnership with the Wrexham Trust. The SCST approved of the Season ticket subsidy. It was reported in the minutes. Lets face it they are in no position to object. The CLN is in my opinion a game changer. "Yankee Asset Strippers subsidise Season ticket at Swansea City - Shock" It does not make sense does it. Even the resident 'Traveller' on here will have trouble with that one. I agree in principle that Mindi is not a massive force for good at Swansea in the whole scheme of things. A £1m investment in shares possibly and a little contribution to the CLN perhaps.? She has however committed more of her personal cash to buy old shares and possibly new shares in Swansea city than the SCST have in over 20 years. This is my point. There are constraints on investment for the SCST. This is why I have recommended and external consultant to come in and establish a serious business plan for them and strategy moving on within their rules and regulations. The rules written in legalese allows money raising ventures. I am not sure the SCST will do this. They have already almost £900,000 on account getting negligible interest. I was getting over 1% on my HSBC business account over the same period . This would have returned them an extra £8000 per year or £48,000 over 6 years. A investment return of 4.5% pa would have seen them generate a whopping £235,000 extra over 6 year. Swansea owners in my view have made the club resilient and ready for any court case result. The club and the fans will end up paying for any extra bills that come their way. Player sales season ticket hikes and redundancies. Winter has been dishing out good news for about a year now, hoping to change the narrative end engender more positive working arrangement within the Board. Swansea fans are not so dim to expect that to go on for ever without a contribution from their notional representatives. The SCST it seems to me is in drift. The members instead of finding out about methods of investment and determining an investment and income philosophy have got themselves instead involved in small town politics. I would recommend making money and giving 10% of profits away to good causes. in South Wales as allowed in the Rules. So much time has passed that the reason for going to court have become blurred and the anger and bitterness has subsided. Many of the members who voted for legal action have died or moved on. The board has completely changed. The other game changer is the massive wealth in the premier league. The worlds richest football club could be in the Championship next season. Arab money is coming to the league. The CLN money bought Piroe and Downes. By the end of this season the £2m invested in these players will be £20m. If the US owners have to pay off the SCST they will recover the CLN and give it to the SCST to share with their 3rd party legal partners. Winter will know who to sell to fill the black hole. There are no commissions if the SCST does not go to court. Third parties get nothing and the money stays in Wales. This is what I recommend along with the appointment of a professional business adviser to create a business plan taking into account any constraints and on going strategy. This should include charitable donations out of profits.

“all being well…” - so it may not then? “If all goes to plan…” - so it may not then? “From Mindi and her US friends” - do you have any evidence that any money will come from her? Or that the money from other investors which happen to live in the same 300m population country as her, has anything to do with her at all? “£1m investment possibly” - so we don’t know? “And a contribution to the CLN perhaps” - so we don’t know? “And possibly new shares” - so possibly not? I’m glad you have learned to stop making these statements factual, but it does make a ridiculous read to see how many suppositions you make continually. Framing things how you would like them to be as opposed to how they are.

As you are fully aware the trust already have requested details well before you 'advised' them (wrote on a football forum). None are forthcoming. But they should have been invited from the start shouldn't they? Do you have the courage to answer that yet? Blatently wrong on what count!? Well that's all he is currently. Bob Bradley was trusted by these people to run the football team. Yet you have no evidence she still owns any shares or has loaned the club anything so that invalidates that paragraph. No they fully engaged the Wrexham trust from the start. While Mindy hasn't bothered doing anything and wouldn't have whether the trust were 'partners' or not. Oooohhh at last a bit of clarity - so you do maintain that the Americans did make a 'mistake' in not bidding and buying the trust's shares and thus becoming 'partners' with them? Ah you've moved the goalposts. You were talking about the CLN when you stated the trust had approved it. Well no, why would the supporters trust not approve cheaper tickets for the Supporters!? The loans were already in the club, it's a positive the fans benefit from it, despite the fact that the club as it stands will have to repay the subsidy. Again - it's the clubs funds, balance Resloven, the key word. Take up that argument with that poster although they point to the fact that you have posted several times that the Americans may in future sell players for their own ends. Yes, zero contribution into the club itself. She bought shares at a higher price than the trust. I'm struggling to see why that's impressive or why that's good for the club? In relative terms it's an even more worthless fact. She's a multimillionaire who bought some shares. The trust scrimped and begged and borrowed all they had to buy their share. And have been involved every single day since. The trust are aware of what's available I'm sure. Glad you've finally acknowledged the restraints. Will this finally put an end to you banging on about them investing in stuff you know they can't? But still criticising them for it? Game changer with multiple millions in the bank. That opens doors even if the regulatory constraints remain. It's damn lucky they didn't tie up their capital in long term ventures with better interest rates. As a working trust, they need instant access to their funds. They wouldn't be able to function under your plan, let alone fund a legal case. Santander was simply a bank account, not an investment vehicle. It's not complicated. Again you're slanted bias is obscuring common sense and logic. How have they made it 'ready' and 'resilient' if they are going to rely on the fans to find their loss in court then? And in what form is it 'resilient'? The academy has been downgraded and isn't really producing anyone currently who'll garner a high sale in the near future and if the likes of Piroe/Paterson are sold and not adequately replaced, we won't be far off relegation. A resilient team would have ready made replacements. We don't. And we describing an asset stripping scenario. Which makes a mockery of your previous comments above. Small town politics doesn't involve committing to a multiple year court case and thorough plan to try and mediate based upon a mandate from the membership. Sorry, that's a baseless insult. Balance Resloven. The magic word. Incorrect - you're making that up. The aims are clear and the only disillusionment is that getting to court is taking so long. The appetite to get it done is still strong. The rest about deaths etc is a complete fabrication. And the board is irrelevant, the mandate remains. An equal counterweight is the fact that we are further away from the premier league than we have been in a decade. It's a nice dream but let's be realistic. The likes of Newcastle coming down will widen the gap further. Well great, the club shouldn't have loans to artificially mask where we are anyway. If we can sell players off and remove club debts and remain competitive, win win. That's how we've always operated. Well advise the Americans to get their arssss in gear and engage to avert court action then. As you already know the trust have attempted numerous times to do this. It's the Americans turn to step up the plate now and fulfil their promises (remember the zoom call commitment?).

Sorry I cannot predict the future. I do not have the exact figures of Mindi's contribution. The '28' invested about £30m in buying Swansea city shares so it is probably around £1m. It does not matter that much. Mindi simply represents one of the 28. The US investment group has put £10m plus into the club coffers via the CLN. The breakdown of individuals is not published. It was leaked in the past. Mindi or people like Mindi may well have contributed. I am speculating which is allowed. What we do know pretty much for sure is that Mindi has made a much bigger commitment to the club in financial terms than the 1000 strong Trust have over their 20 year existence. The self confessed "guardians of the club" have put in a fraction of your massive personal portfolio if your talk is anything to go by and do not seem too interested in getting involved in new loans. The Trust have only ever put £200k into the club and taken around £600k out in dividends. Season ticket holders who are enjoying a primarily American subsidy of their season tickets should be conscious that the Trust did not contribute or make much effort to contribute. I am speculating that if the Trust win in court the US people will put on them a primarily chunky American increase. That is speculation as well.

Well you seem to have a good go quite often. Piroes going to be sold for £13milloln apparently to pay the trust! The CLN breakdown was published - 50% Silverstein, 50% K&L. Mindy hasn't put anything 'in' in Swansea City terms. She's put a miniscule chunk of Swansea City into her portfolio. With no investment, no time, no loans. So again what's the benefit? Whys it impressive? What's the point? The trust didn't contribute in the CLN because they weren't invited to and were excluded from knowing the details which the have requested and are still waiting for a year on so stop lying. There was even a comment that Silverstein and the trust had worked hard on the pricing so you're just being disingenuous again. Balance Resloven. The magic word. Right so when that happens, just as now we should be thankful - we should be extremely critical when they hike prices up? Works both ways doesn't it?

What do you mean Mindi or people like Mindi? She is an individual. What others do have no bearing on what she does. Not sure why you are so fixated on someone who you know nothing about in terms of investment levels, involvement and ongoing financial commitment. Much bigger financial commitment “to the club”? Or to her shares? Both very different of course, the first one is highly doubtful, the second one is a certainty as she didn’t buy her shares until we were successful and the value of them increased. You are allowed to speculate yes, as long as you are making it clear you are speculating, which of course you weren’t doing at the start of this conversation. I wasn’t having a go at you for speculating, I was just pointing out that when you remove your speculation that you usually dress up as facts - there isn’t an awful lot left to your posts. They are made up almost entirely of supposition, speculation, assumptions in one sided framing.
