Russia invade Ukraine 14:17 - Dec 23 with 153013 viewsFlynnidine_Zidownes

Discuss.

Also why is Putin always described in the media as this rugged strongman? He’s barely five foot tall with his high heels on.

But that’s another debate.

Do you seriously think that Ukraine would attack their own people with a missile that could not have been fired by the Russians because the range is too short?

And then be stupid enough show it to the world on TV for everyone to see what they've done?

Or is it actually more likely it was fired by Russia?

This regurgitation of Kremlin propaganda is getting a bit stupid now.

It won't be known for definite, but yes for propoganda. The EU president happened to visit on the same day

It's also outside the range of any known Russian military or the separatists

It isn’t, the Russian backed separatists and the Russians were in range in a couple of areas.

Yes the evil NATO are aggressively provoking Russia by doing absolutely nothing apart from saying we will defend ourselves if attacked for nearly eight decades. What a bunch of bastards.

The deniers won’t have it that there have been mass executions either, it’s bonkers.

Well obviously that’s NATO sneaking in through the night and massacring entire villages before sneaking away again. Probably cackling loudly. They do this to try and smear the heroic Russians and their noble and very tall leader Vladimir Putin who are just trying to defend themselves against the evil nazi Ukrainians in a peaceful and honourable manner.

I've heard Zelenskyy is actually a zombie who roams the streets at night eating Ukrainian childrens brains. Then he piles on make up to look normal during the day.

Also, the Russian Neo Nazi's aren't very naughty boys they are actually the Messiahs there to rescue Ukraine from the very naughty Ukrainians trying to defend their own country.

I'd rather live under Putin too, if by under meant it was an underground bunker with 30 feet of steel reinforced concrete above me.

The Ukranian front line extended way further than 120 km, so it could only have come from the Ukranian military

Lviv is thousands of kilometres from the Russian border yet it is regularly attacked by a Russian missiles that certainly have a longer range than 120km.

Not this particular missile. 120km is the maximum. It's not very precise either. Apparently, it's more for battlefield coverage than precision

Do you honestly believe that?

Personally I think it's more bonkers than AFD suggesting that a large part of the invasion so far has been a decoy for actions in the east.

Do you really believe that in an effort to make it look like Russia were attacking civilians in Ukraine, the Ukrainians would fire a missile at themselves that couldn't have been fired by Russia?

And then make it so obvious that someone on a football forum spots the mistake but seemingly nobody else?

Or have you been watching TASS again?

Of course they believe it. Patrick Lancaster the random American ex soldier allowed to travel, film and live with Russian soldiers on the front line for some reason told them so on YouTube.

The visegrad group. A station representative of Poland , Czech Republic, Slovakia and (oddly enough) Hungary.

Four NATO member states (and formerly under the yoke of the iron curtain) who are pushing for membership into the EU. Is this what you call unbiased reporting? They’ve certainly got many an axe to grind with Russia.

Those four are already EU members, since 2004 I think.

Anyway, are you saying the story is completely fake? Are you another Russian apologist? Maybe you should go live in Russia and see how you like it?

Putin stated he would capture kviv in days but his forces were badly hit and their advance stalled . His troops then decided to commit war crimes on civilians with mass executions. Finally after realising his army were suffering heavy losses the Russian army retreated in total disarray leaving lots of their armour behind.

Putin then reinforced his stalled attacks in the North East and East Ukraine but even there the attack in the North East was repelled and the Russian forces retreated again with the remanents now being deployed to make up the losses in the East of Ukraine.

Not going to plan with huge losses inflicted on the Russian army. Which is why Putin is now concentrating on missile attacks on civilians targets.

A little game we can all play Google Restaurants in Russia put a review on their web site with a couple of sentences explaining the Russian invasion of Ukraine with war crimes listed and how badly it is going for the Russian army.

Ouch! And from a fellow Dunvant boy too.

No I’m not a Russian apologist - I don’t want any warfare anywhere (especially if the threat of a nuclear war could be the final outcome).

What I’m trying to point out (just like Iraq and Afghanistan) - war is being stoked on this side of the fence (notably in Congress where at least 25% of those therein have stocks and shares in “defence”) to make billions for the arms industry - giving free weapons to the Ukrainians which will then plunge them into horrific debt for probably over a century or more with their GDP. More likely western conglomerates will co-opt Ukraine’s natural resources like the GW Bush administration did allowing Halliburton to run riot in Iraq .

If peace was desired it was easily achievable in this present conflict but that’s not going to keep Raytheon, General Dynamics and others in profit so western peace initiatives have been conspicuous by their absence while talk of escalation just ramps up.

War hasn’t been about noble causes for many years - it’s about money pure and simple and that’s why there has been almost perpetual conflict somewhere or other for the USA since the Balkans.

Where do you obtain your "unbiased " reports ?
Russian TV Rossiya 1 and Channel One are controlled by and are answerable to the media watchdog Roskomnadzor and have to follow the official narrative of the state so they can't be declared as unbiased. A statement issued by them stated “they are obliged to only use information and data they have received from official Russian sources.” The statement also warned that unnamed media outlets have spread “unverified and unreliable information.” The websites of the independent TV channel Dozhd and the popular liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy have been blocked for alleged calls for extremism and violence, and "systematic spread of false information about the activities of the Russian military" The totally unbiased Russian news agency TASS is owned by the federal government so would you trust what they report ?
