I should stay out of this because my thoughts on religion may get me into trouble. lets say I'm, not a fan.
Islam, I can respect it more than Christianity because the rules are there and haven't changed. On the other hand I don't respect it much because it can be barbaric and it's badly out of date....yes like the bible I have contradictions!
Now the bible, my mother in law said her vicar told her the same as Flynnidine said, you can't take it literally because it's been re-written so many times. Surely a vicar of all people should have faith that those writing the newer versions were being guided by their god? Christianity moves with the times and these days it ignores parts of the bible people don't like such as homosexuality,
Leviticus 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
All it is then is religion trying to remain relevant by ignoring it's own rule book. Islam may be practically prehistoric but at least they have faith their gods word is still law. The Muslims I have known personally have been very nice people. My own mother was a born again Christian and a complete hypocrite!

These good Christian people are nothing but zealots and lunatics How can a Christian hate the Jews when the Jews are Jesus own people? How can there be so many different sects of the same religion? Only one of each can be right and the problem is, they all think they are the right one.
Religion should be kept away from schools and government.
