Buying out the Yanks 13:21 - Feb 20 with 1412 viewsowainglyndwr

If a certain person would offer to buy this club off the Yanks, with the understanding that money will not be thrown at the club, would you be happy with that ?

It depends. If it involves the walking car crash Briony Cluff being reappointed as DoF then fûck no

I fully expect the club to change hands in the next 6 months, IMO that is why the agreement with the trust has been made. Whether the club will be in a better financial position or if its done to generate another profit I will wait and see.

I’d be happy with him back. It’s his MO to sell high and then re-buy when it flounders. At the end of the day he’s a good businessman and a supporter.

They have said they are in it for the long term. Silverstein has not even bought his shares yet and that could take another year. They may take on additional shareholders. If the club wants to break even and make profits it needs to fill the team with the loan players. Guys like Garrick, Whittaker, Brandon Cooper, Joseph, Benda and Cullen.

If Swansea are going to struggle I would prefer the pain of growth to be given to long term prospects not old boys and loans.
